- Good hotel, nice staff
Cons -
- If you're really sound sensitive, make sure you don't get a track facing room. A colleague of mine was a bit bothered.
- Pillows uncomfortable.Rooms cleaned on request or on the 3rd night of a longer stay only. Mine wasn't cleaned on the 3rd night
- Room too dark to read a book; no shampoo provided

Location for train stations ,very clean friendly hotel
Convenient location to S Bahn Altona and 40 mins direct on train from Airport. Plenty of resteraunts around.
Nothing. All as expected.
Second time staying. Super clean and functional hotel. Pleasant staff. Great location
Kettle in the room would be nice, but not a deal breaker
Standard-Hotel
Hotel stuff and potential guests:BED BUG bites! Realised them 3 days after staying there for 1 nights. High risk it is in this room.My room was on the 1 floor, last room on the right side of the long corridor, next to the emergency door..
Convenient for railway station. Room big enough and comfortable.
I like where it is. You have the S-bahn and bus stations just there. You can move around the city easily, you have plenty of shops and restaurants if you need anything. It is very convenient.
The pillows. They are not comfortable.
Breakfast and location were both great.
The beds were exceptionally clean BUT very uncomfortable, neither myself and my husband in room 313 and our friends in room 317 found the bed comfortable, non of us slept well on both nights. The rooms were quite hot and the air conditioning could not be lowered more than 18 deg. If we opened the window for air noise from the station was a problem. Also we were disappointed to find there was no facility to make a hot drink in our rooms (we had a late arrival and would have liked a hot drink) we were not offered any refreshments on arrival either. The bath towels were also showing signs of wear but were clean.
Great location, close the train station. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Location and friendly staff
Basic room
The location was brilliant for us as we were continuing our journey by train.
Some Staff weren't very friendly or helpful. There was no restaurant as advertised- only a coffee shop which closed at 4pm. Nothing open in the evening within the hotel. No tea and coffee in the room, so after 4pm, you had to go outside the hotel to get a hot drink. No drinking water available other than through a vending machine or from tap in the bedroom (when available).Room was basic, but clean. Beds were very small and uncomfortable. Pillows were awful. On the second day, the water was turned off without proper notice (due to some urgent building work apparently). When I went to reception to query the lack of water, staff just pointed to a notice to state it was being turned off and offered no apology.Water pressure in the shower was intermittent throughout the stay. When I did finally take a shower, the water didn't drain away quickly enough and the bathroom flooded. We were very disappointed overall. I'm half German and felt bad as I felt it was a reflection of a country I love.
Location
It didn’t feel safe. Our room door wouldn’t lock so we were moved to another room but the next room had no functioning fridge. The pillows had almost no filling. The reception desk wasn’t manned and anyone could walk into the hotel and use the lift. Breakfast used the cheapest ingredients.
The staff only
Everything they say that comes with the hotel is all made up here on booking cz the hotel doesn’t have any other facilities whatsoever and don’t get me started on the bed ? they were as hard as a wooden floor my back is killing me till now . The mini bar (fridge) was broken with nothing inside too and the AC wasn’t working as well and then we complained to the receptionist about it and they moved us to a different room which is why I liked the staff cz they were so nice about it and the new room they gave us was not carpeted the phone didn’t work too and the bed was still the same problem and the wifi there is weak and sometimes just stop working all together for minutes.
It was centrally located - handy for the station, reasonably priced and the beds gave me an excellent nights sleep. Although my room overlooked the platforms of the station had three very peaceful night’s sleep.
It felt a bit tired. Although I used the automated check in it struggled to accept my card. Also had a few questions problems with the door key which didn’t always respond.
Convenient to Altona station with local and intercity services to a wide variety of destination. Also direct connection to/from Hamburg airport. Room small but reasonably well appointed. Good size bathroom. In-room safe and a bottle of complimentary water.
Breakfast at almost €20 seems overpriced.Guest rooms not serviced on a daily basis, which for a hotel charging well over €100/night is unacceptable. It would appear that one has to request this at check-in, but I was not advised of same.Tea & coffee making facilities advertised on the hotel's website not provided. In-room fridge did not work. The lobby bar's opening hours were abysmal - Sunday to Thursday it closed at 4 p.m., while on Fridays and Saturdays closing time was extended to 8 p.m! Again, for a hotel in this price range somewhere to relax and enjoy refreshing drin after a day sightseeing would seem to be a must. Especially given the lack of in-room facilities
Well positioned for railway station. Good bathroom.
Bed not particularly comfortable. It was a single bed.0
Great location. Out the door and onto the train platforms. Windows must be triple, triple glazed because we heard no noise from outside at all. Great shower pressure. Beds a bit creaky, but not a problem. Room was adequate for our needs.
All was great.
Breakfast was good. A nice variety. Bar was only open till 20:00!Restaurant was closed for the whole time/weekend?!Mini-bar in room(s) empty
