Auto-Parkhotel Hamburg St Pauli

Nice, small, family hotel only three stops from the city center with the metro. The metro station is very close to the hotel. Even though it's very close to Reeperbahn, the hotel is quiet and the neighbourhood is safe. The breakfast was good with fresh products every day and the breakfast room was nicely decorated and cozy. We booked the comfort double room, which was spacious, very warm and clean with comfortable beds. The room was cleaned every day and they changed the towels every other day, even though we didn't ask for it. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Overall a comfortable and nice stay in beautiful Hamburg!

Even though the hotel is renovated, there are a few things that could be improved, like the closet in our room that looked outdated and had a funny smell and the bathroom door that was a little dirty and needed a fresh coat of paint. Other than that everything was very nice!

Rooms need sound insulation. We got to hear all what was going on in the room of our neighbors, and it was not a good experience at all.

Do NOT book this hotel before researching the Reeperbahn area!When we arrived, we were shocked by how unsafe the surroundings were. Right across from the hotel, in the parking area, we witnessed suspicious and unsafe activity. While walking in the neighborhood, we even saw people openly dealing illegal substances.This area is absolutely NOT suitable for families — it feels dangerous and uncomfortable, especially at night. The hotel’s parking lot is located behind the building, but after seeing the street and the environment, we decided not to check in at all.The hotel also refused to refund our money despite the situation.I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place. It is definitely not worth the risk.

The staff are very friendly and patient. It’s very close the S-bahn station and a supermarket Penny. The breakfast provides a variety of food and drinks.

The toilet in the Single Room is very tiny. That would be handy if there is an electric kettle in the room for making tea coffee or hot drinks. The wall is not very soundproof. Always heard the noise from the next door especially during midnight. But all these are minor issues.

Room was very good despite single room next to lift I was not disturbed. Breakfast excellent quality and good variety. Staff service excellent

Location? If you are a party animal - perferct.

Repaban is one of the bussiest streets in Hamburg. Hotel offer no AC, therefore you have to keep your widows open, being so close to such busy street prepare yourself for all the nightlife noises: sirenes, arab music, fights, love making sounds - you name it. A good working AC would of solved all the proboems.

Staff were lovely and it was an easy walk to the harbour.

This hotel is a small diamond compared to the area it is located. The best of all is the stuff that makes you feel welcome and secure despite the area. The rooms are adequately comfortable, if what you are looking for is just a place to rest and take a shower. Really good breakfast. Small cafés and shops, even a playground around. Parking possibilities was a great plus. All in all good value for money.

A small fridge in the room or a coffee machine in the common areas would be appreciated

Clean and simple room for a night's stay. Great that we could park easily. Few minutes walk from metro station which was convenient.

Windows were able to block out most noise from the streets but not completely so might not be suitable for light sleepers.

The twin room was on the small side, with limited space for two people to move about and minimal storage space for their combined luggage.

Very nice located in the middle of the city. A little shady area but that is pretty normal in the city. I had to get all my stuff out of the car even empty bottles. Just to avoid issues. Was lucky that my 21 inch wheels were still under my car next day. Super breakfast.

Lady at the desk was very unfriendly. Rooms are very small and when I arrived they put a hand write note under my door to be quiet during the night. Super special. Although they updated the hotel, it still looked very poor. A lot of noise during the night. For me a one time experience. Can get better hotels in that area.
