City Hotel St Georg Hamburg by UniqStay

it's located in a prime location. Literally around only 40 meter from the entrance of lohmullenstrasse subway station. Main train station is only located 1 station away, and from there you can transfer to any other subway lines and regional trains to any directions.The staffs are very friendly and there are lots of food options around, or couple of subway station away.We as a family with 2 children feel safe around the hotel.

Unfortunately no elevator. But the staffs were kind putting us in the first floor. This is helpful because we have small children.Furthermore, a round desk in our room was unfortunately not assembled correctly. It was wobbly and cannot be used for anything, not even to put something on it, because if we moved the wrong way, the desk will wobble and our stuff will fall down. Our stays were short, so we decided not to complain. But the wobbly desk showed that there is a room for improvement on quality control from the hotel side.

The hotel is located just a few meters from one U-Bahn station, and it takes around 5 minutes to reach Hamburg main train station and also other main touristy areas (e.g. St Pauli, Landungsbrücke) within 20-30 minutes.

- Unfortunately, no elevator. Although it is just 4 stories, so it is not that terrible, unless you have physical problems.- Pillow is too soft, so it could be a bit uncomfortable.- Bathroom does not have light switch but only a sensor, which is annoying if one is taking a shower and then suddenly the light goes off and one needs to stick your arm and move it around to turn it on.

Cheap for Hamburg and location not far from the main station. Stuff is friendly. Rooms are clean and nice.

Horrible souls proof, you hear everything. When someone closes door with power, you feel vibrations in the furniture.

Good value for money. The room has all you need, seems like a 3 star hotel, and everything was clean. The check-in was easy, with a friendly receptionist. The location is good, very near the main train station.

Just the lights system in the toilet, which does not have a switch, so the exhaust and lights both turn on and off on their own, which was a bit upsetting but nothing major.

It was one of the best hotels I ever stay.. confortable, clean and space.. I suggest to everyone!?

It would be nice to have a kettle and glasses in the room. The nightstands and closet were dusty.

Location near to metro.

Cleanliness. Dirty bathroom and the toilet was black inside. Sticky hairdryer. Very dusty fan.

Well, the bathroom needed some attention in terms of tightening the screws on the toilet….. The room was very clean and the staff was very attentive.

Missing pillow when entering room.No functional TV.Neither small hotel fridge nor complementary tea & coffee.

We didn't get breakfast at the hotel, I don't think they do breakfast. However, the room was as the pictures depicted. The beds were comfortable and big. Sheets, pillows, duvets and towels were all provided and clean. The ensuite was clean and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We had a quadruple room and it was airy and spacious.

Maybe the tea/coffee making facilities. There was a kettle but nothing else, no cups, coffee or tea. There was also only 2 glasses even though it was a quadruple room.

It’s comfortable. Its location is good since it has supermarkets fast food stores very close. Transportation is easily accessible

No breakfast.Bed was comfy.

Marks on the wall.Dubious white stains on curtains next to the bed.Toilet seat unclean.Old and tired room.Woken at night by a food delivery man banging on and trying the door handle.Worryingly there was a double electric point above the sink with a hairdryer plugged into it !A kettle was supplied but that was all, no cups, tea, coffee etc

The staircase is so narrow

- Location- Staff was OK, they were helpful, friendly, smiling. I was happy with the staff.

1. Size of the room, it is super tiny, not as on the pictures;2. No lift;3. Old and dirty room.

They made me pay city tax, although all taxes were included in the price of my booking at Booking.com; moreover they levied the tax for 2 people although I was a solo traveler

Location was near the metro station. Room was clean enough.

There was no plan for cleaning the room.The kettle in the room was broken and leaked. I asked the reception to change it for us and he even wrote a note to not forget. But Nothing happened at the end.

Ist was pleasant, clean and good value

The room was small but nice, the double bed constists of 2 mattresses so there‘s a gap in the middle which did not disturb us. The location is amazing, the metro station is right next to the hotel and also a bus station. Staff was very friendly, uncomplicated and flexible. We called to arrive one day earlier and it was no problem. Value for price very good, we were happy with this choice of hotel!

In the shower was a little bit of mold which wasn‘t a problem for us, otherwise the room was very clean.

The room was pretty big.

Not much facilities like soap, kettle etc.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, making it a great budget-friendly option for both families and solo travelers, with clean rooms that offer good value for the price.

The room does not have a kettle for making coffee or tea , however, you can request one from the hotel staff. Additionally, the TV is not working.
