extremely capable and friendly service, very good food, super location, cleanliness, gave a warm feeling
maybe a harder bed
If you are traveling by train, this hotel could not be better located. Also is it close to most attractions. My room (Deluxe King Room) was big with sofa and chair. Bathroom was very nice with a big walk-in shower.
Nothing I can think of.
Has real character- in a good way - handy location, friendly staff
Can be a bit noisy when they are shovelling snow at the train station next door but otherwise nothing
Beautiful, old style hotel in the best location ever....2 minute walk to Central station- trains, metro etc. Food options in short walking distance. The hotel feels like being in a Wes Anderson movie. The staff were lovely, the breakfast buffet was lush and set us up for the day, so good rather than walking around in the cold first thing. The lift is so cute. Make sure you book a table at the library bar for live Jazz on a Friday night. The room were great and comfy.
The room had a low, mummer noise maybe a generator? Didn't really bother us but not a silent room. Right next to train tracks, again didn't bother us as it was cold we had windows shut, double windows so barely any sound. Bed was soft, not crazy but I like a firm bed for my back, but was okay.
This hotel far outweighed our expectations for other 4* properties we have stayed in. It's not 'modern' as such but it's luxury old english, with beautiful furnishings, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with large shower, plus tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen TV. Our room boasted a beautiful city skyline view (though we did get an upgrade when we arrived as we were slightly early). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both at Reception and Breakfast too, so that was a massive plus. We only stayed one night, but did get to enjoy a sumptious breakfast, with plenty of fresh options, and good coffee! The hotel also has one of the oldest lifts in the city (over 100 years still in perfect working order) and lastly (which was an awesome touch) they have a list of all the celebrities they have had staying at the venue over the years including Queen, Abba, David Bowie, Backstreet Boys, Meat Loaf and plenty more!
We didn't 'dislike' anything, the only reason we haven't given it a 10/10 is because the famous Library Bar (the one rated by Forbes) do not prioritise Hotel Guests, so you must book in advance, at least one day before, if you want a table. They don't allow bookings on the day, and there was a massive queue to get in, which was around a minimum of an hour. It sounds like even though it's in the Hotel, it's not part of the Hotel... apart from that everything else was perfect.
The room was spacious, with an amazing view and a very comfortable bed.
Rooms good, breakfast exceptional.
Having to pay 25dkk for tap water and 10dkk for a small portion of tomato ketchup in Angellini restaurant.
Amazing Location , lovely clean hotel
The double beds had two single duvet covers
Great location and friendly staff. Good size rooms
Room was cosy with enough space for the whole family. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was amazing! Location was the perfect spot to get out and walk the city. Getting there by train with young kids and a few bags was really quite easy and hassle free. Kids loved the buffet breakfast every morning. Great selection of food to satisfy even the pickiest of our family.
Noise from the train station took a little getting used to, but wasn't too bad by the end.
At first sight looked quite ok
Bad mattresses, No lights in bathroom without turning on all main lights which is not nice at night, no heating in bathroom
Excellent location right next to the Tivoli and Central station, great restaurants and bars nearby and easily accessible to anywhere in the city. Great interiors in the main lobby, cool glass elevator and amazing Library Bar. Very comfortable bed too.
Staff weren’t super helpful, more interested in talking to each other before finally helping us. The room was fine but a little bit shabby and the bathroom sink kept spraying all over us every time we used it- not a big deal but became pretty annoying. Otherwise, totally fine.
Nice clean hotel, very good breakfast served. Perfect location.

Everything I wanted was nearby - the city center, central station, cafes, and shops. The bed was so comfy, and the design in the room was very beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful, as well as the personnel. My stay was excellent due to the hotel and the personnel.
The room was on the railway side, so it was a bit noisy, however hotel provided ear plugs, which saved my sleep. Nothing else can be mentioned as a disadvantage!
Perfect location for a city break to explore Copenhagen, being a very short walk from the Central train station. A little bit of wood panelled, polished brass Copenhagen history, featuring the amazing Library Bar make it a unique experience.Polite and welcoming staff made our stay perfect. Our room was clean spacious and - even being at the front of the hotel - was very quiet.
Wish we'd have spotted the booking page for the Library Bar before we arrived! But that's a website improvement and nothing against the hotel!
Very nice staff. The morning staff was extremely accommodating and the breakfast was great. The maintenance man even helped me on his lunch break to go to the train. I will definitely be coming back.
The night man forgot to put in a wakeup for me.
Fenomenal bar! Good location! Historic place!
