Capsule Hotel - Copenhagen

This hostel is the most amazing gem in Copenhagen to stay at. It's the perfect mix of coziness, cleanliness, Danish Style, and Japanese influence (especially the pods)! The breakfasts in the morning were amazing, and a great way to meet other travelers!

he spaces were really cozy and well decorated, and the staff was very helpful and kind. The location was quite convenient in my case, where I had to take the train.

The rooms were too small for 14 people to be able to move around with their luggage and staff. There was no privacy at the bathroom, as the doors were transparent and people were passing around while somebody was on the toilet.

The capsules give you the illusion of privacy, but it's just a hostel. Lack of lockers near sleeping pod. The blue 'night light' in the pod - make it red and it would be fine.

It is a very unique experience. I liked not having any staff there. The other people felt trustworthy. I didn't have a lock with me so I slept with my things in my pod which was slightly uncomfortable but I don't blame the hostel for this as they tell you to bring a lock for the lockers they provide.

I know some capsule hotels provide robes or shower shoes. This would be a nice thing to have if possible.

Good location. It’s easy to move to København H just by walking five minutes.

I loved the location, convenience, cleanliness, free wi-fi, and friendly staff. Guests were considerate of each others' privacy. The whole place was a welcoming little nook for backpackers and light travelers to sleep at night in the middle of the city. Tivoli and the main train station are just a 5-min walk away from Capsule Hotel. There are several nice bars with outdoor seating within 2-min. walking distance at Vesterbros Torv. As a bonus, there is a nice place where you can have a few drinks right across the street, literally 5-second walking distance from Capsule Hotel entrance!, and on the same street, 30-second walking distance from Capsule Hotel entrance, there is a hidden gem that makes great falafel: Killer Kebab - Vesterbro. Really great location to stay and experience downtown Copenhagen in a very down-to-earth and convenient way.

There were two toilet stalls, two shower stalls, and three sinks that served over 8 guests. The sinks, in particular, were very small. Everything was designed well given the little space available, and the whole place was kept clean & neat all the time, but I wish bathroom facilities were a bit more spacious.

The food was great, especially the cereal and toasted bread. the staff were too kind, they even invited me for the party which was very sweet.

The property was very clean and well maintained. It’s in a great location, close to everything and easy to get around. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay.

There isn’t much space to store large luggage during the stay.

What a pleasant surprise! I was not expecting this level of quality in a ”hostel”, shared spaces were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simple but filling and high quality. The bed was comfy and felt more spacious than it was. The vibe was calm, unlike in other hostels.

Unfortunately I got extremely ill during my stay at the hostel and had to cough and sneeze a lot overnight. The walls of the capsules are like paper so I definitely could hear others and they could hear me through the night. But when you’re sick, you’re sick and no can do. Bring good earbuds.

I had booked a capsule, but once I arrived, I realised that it wasn’t for me. The staff and managers were very kind and understanding — they agreed to refund the full amount without any problem. I really appreciated their professionalism and kindness.

The name hotel is a misnomer. This is a hostel, with all the trappings of one and as uncomfortable as one. Only 2 shower

I usually like capsule hotels, but this one was too micro. The design of the capsules is poor. They are small and clausteophobic to begin with. Then the doors open inwards and get blocked by the duvet. Absolutely no space for a small bag. The ladder is placed awkwardly on the side and to get out, you have to sit on a thin edge of the door opening. Very uncomfortable. The air in the capsule was also poor. I had to open the door to get fresh air from the passage outside.Secondly, the AI responds to my e-mails were generic and misleading. Saying there was convenient space for luggage and that I could safely park my bike in the area.

Very nice and modern place with convenient location near the station. Friendly staff and good breakfast as well.

Had to phone up the owner and wait 5/10 mins on hold to get a code to get in as check in inside the locked building. The capsule got quite hot at night.

Not enough info given on how small the capsules are, especially if you're travelling with large luggage - there are lockers provided but you need to bring your own padlock and they're not large enough to take a medium sized suitcase... for the price, would have liked to have had a lock provided for the locker plus a bigger locker as I ended up sleeping with the cases in the capsule which is only really big enough for one person to sleep in, not with luggage

Tasty breakfeast for free, but very little options (yoghurt, musli, no fresh bread). Very friendly staff at breakfeast. In general the experience in the cabin is good, there is a mirror and spacious picture, control over light, free earplugs, clean linens. Capsules themselves were clean, common area looked modern, boho vibes. Quick reply to e-mail with quesions. Glad there were lockers to leave the luggage (not just one big room) and I;m happy that staff wrote me before to bring own lock.

No division for female and male showers. Very cold capsules and no possibility to manage temperature. I could hear someone moving in the capsule above all night. In the offer, it was mentioned something about storage space inside the capsules, for bags, there wasn't any. Most people just kept their suitcases outside capsules at night, no lockers in the room, which was not safe. People didn't know to bring their lock. No staff in the evening, to open the door. Code to the door actually came only when I checked in on the big screen, when other guest let me in. Next day I met a person in the same situation, waiting at the outside door confused.
