Excellent location. Solid breakfast. Staff is excellent.

The only reason I’m not giving 10 stars is the shower in the bathroom. Whoever designed that shower is clearly not the best and brightest. There’s no basin to catch the water so water will go all over the bathroom and you’ll be forced to put out towels

Good location. Comfortable, clean beds.the lobby and breakfast area were decent.

Didn’t want to take my shoes off the floors were so stained, old and gross. The bathroom needs major updating. Overall the room is small, tired and felt like a janky hostel. Thank God the beds were good. Could have done much better for the price.

we were given 2 single duvets for a double bed and the bath tub was a bit creaky and had gaps at both ends between it and the wall

Great location! Outstanding breakfast buffet. It was a great location to explore Copenhagen from as the main train station is a block from the hotel.

Great location if you want to be near central station and Tivoli. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a great selection.

The bathrooms are on the small side so didn’t suit us as a family of four in one room. Being near central station is the same in any country and city, not really the authentic city streets you get just a 5min walk away.

This hotel is located one block from the central station so it is very convenient for travel. We were only one night stop in Copenhagen before flying home, and it was the perfect location. After a late check-in, our original room had an issue with the bathroom and the night manager Leonardo quickly changed us to a different room which was clean and quiet. The hotel is old but well maintained. We had a lovely walk for dinner, there are many restaurants options close by, and woke up well rested the next morning. The included breakfast is nice. Checkout was a quick key drop and we were on our way to the airport.

The hotel is in a really good location within walking distance to city and train station within a 5 minute walk.5 min walk to trivoli gardens.Rooms were spacious and clean beds really comfy breakfast was good and plenty to offer.Reception staff really friendly and knowledgeable about the cityWhen we arrived we were greeted by lea who was so friendly and kind as this was are first visit to the city she gave us an Indepth talk about where to go etc and showed us on the city map she was so helpful and nothing was to much to ask.Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit.We will defiantly be booking this hotel again in the future

The room never got warm. The bathroom had a strange configuration and a hazard in the middle of the floor

The delicious breakfast included many healthy and vegetarian options. Loved the cozy, inviting atmosphere, created by the combination of warm and friendly staff, plants, thoughtful touches of snacks available all day, and the lovely garden. We first stayed at a different hotel for my spouse's conference, and a fortuitous visit with a new friend, staying at Guldsmeden, led to my booking the remainder of our stay there! And the cost was much better than the conference hotel.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we like; our lower backs were sore. Also, we couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat; I didn't like being so hot that I woke up with sweaty clothes.

Not great - to say...

In this trip we (my partner and I) stayed twice at this hotel, with a difference of several days in between. The first stay was very good and the room completely satisfied our needs. The second stay was bad, very bad - we reserved in advance (and paid) the regular double bed room but we got the family room and when we asked to change they told us the hotel is fully booked, The room itself is not big (to say the least) and the extra beds capture a significant portion of it, but because it was for a short stay we decided to ignore it The huge NO NO was the bathroom (if you can call it a room), the size was so so tiny not to mention the wet plastic curtain that keeps sticking to your body when showering. (Guys - we're on the 21st century get rid of those plastic curtains). I wasn't our first visit at that hotel and although the great location it was, definitely, our last one.

breakfast, tiny bathroom, overall the hotel desperately needs refurbishment, no proper maintenance done for a long period of time, one ceiling lining board came down while we were having breakfast, others were already missing, one also missing in the corridor to our room etc
