Hotel Astoria, Best Western Signature Collection

Convenient location right next to train station. Bed overall comfortable but pillows could be better.

Room was visibly dirty. Bathroom sink cracked. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Towels were dirty/stained. Very loud, but we expected it staying by the train. Person outside our room (on a Tuesday night) vomiting and moaning at 3am—not a great time. Our stay across the street a week ago was way better. Breakfast was also very limited, poorly stocked, and coffee was burnt.

The hotel is located right next to the main train station, which I needed for a train to the airport. It has kept its historic interest, really quite charming.The breakfast is ample and included with the room.The room was quite small, but adequate and with private bath.

Facing a Busy Copenhagen street it was somewhat noisy. Many emergency vehicles passing and the sound of the elevator was noticable; however, the hotel provided excellent earplugs.

Nice period hotel, charming room. Relatively basic but very comfortable. Nice staff, relaxed atmosphere. Good bicycles for rent.

On the railway side of the building, sleeping with the windows open is not really possible due to the noise levels of the trains.

The location by the train station is a blessing and a curse.

No ventilation system in the rooms at all and drunks and noise all night long. Terrible place to stay is you want to get any sleep. I didnt get a wink.

It was close to the center, it was cosy , the breakfast was awesome and all the day long you have a free access to water,coffee, tea, sweet, fruit -that was wonderful

This hotel was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The room was well appointed. It was exceptionally clean. This hotel is charming. It has a vintage art deco feel. It might be difficult if you are a light sleeper as it's close to cental station and there is train noise. With the earplugs supplied I slept through the train noise. The breakfast included was excellent with so many choices, fresh juice and strong coffee. The best were the staff at the front desk. They were so helpful with suggestions, directions and questions. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a historic landmark in Copenhagen, built in 1936, at that time mainly for railway staff. I have stayed there a long time ago and it was nice to be back, also to see that the ambiance in the meantime has been maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an awesome Danish buffet, also like in the "old" day. Finally, it is ideally located, both for train/metro travel and for exploring central Copenhagen on foot.

The hotel is located in the center of the city and there is therefore some traffic noise, but that should be expected. Earplugs were waiting in the room.

Very old hotel!!

The location is excellent. It is right next to the train and metro stations and several bus lines. You have many restaurants nearby, and it is easy to walk to many places. The hotel is nice, and has a really good breakfast. Would stay here again.

The convenience of being next to the central train station and with metro and bus stops close by is ideal. The original art deco style of the building is unique.

The bathroom is tiny and the shower sprays onto the floor.

It was very close to the train station. Breakfast was good.

The bed & pillow weren’t comfortable. My husband is 77 & had to crawl to the end of the bed to go the toilet bc his side was against the wall. The bathroom was tight.

The room was small but comfortable. This is typical for Europe, so it was fine. The location was great! Near a lot of things. We walked everywhere once we arrived, except for when we did a planned tour. The bus met us right in front of this hotel. The central train station was right next door, but we didn't need to use it. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Lots of options, clean and the staff was very nice!

I did not like that we had to pay up front for the hotel. That almost made our decision of changing to another location just because we wanted to pay separately once we arrived. (We booked two rooms as we traveled with another couple.) But the benefits of this hotel outweighed that downfall.

The rooms need renovation, they are so small, that it is impossible to come to bed from both sides. Showers are leaking, after the shower bathroom floor becomes a pool. Hotel is too expensive.

Historical building at a very central location. Friendly and efficient staff.

As the railway station is nearby there is noise from late night and early morning trains, beyond the control of the hotel.

The hotel is steps from the train station so no lugging bags around the city:) it is definitely central to the tourist areas.

Old and not much updated. I understand that it is historical but the carpets and furniture can be updated. There is no air conditioning and only a small fan was provided.

It’s a ancient hotel, poor installations. Rooms are small, noisy, and smells of mold.

Front desk staff very nice. Ok breakfast. Great water pressure in the shower and nice and hot water.

Hotel REALLY showing its age!!. Very run down hotel. Everything in the room needs to be updated from bathroom, get rid of carpet, furniture, paint, doors and windows
