Cute and clean hotel in a great location. Would absolutely stay here again and very much worth the price paid!

This is a cute little hotel. It is a very old building that has been redone with bright colors. The free breakfast was amazing. The reception area was just a desk that always had a friendly worker ready to help you as needed. Loved how unique this hotel.

    Everything was great!

Hotel employee was an absolute doll (as was everyone we encountered) but he checked us in and made us feel like the only people in the room in a lobby full of patrons. He was very knowledgeable about the hotel, the surrounding areas and all the highlights.

    Absolutely nothing!

    Location. Staff.

Room very tiny. No view. Bed was horrible.

    10DavidPosted on: 7-27-2023

friendly helpful staff; lobby area; breakfast choices

the main electric outlet in my room did not work so we could not make hot water nor charge our devices. it was never fixed

The location was fantastic, just a couple of short blocks from the train station. The staff were incredible. I used a walker and they were always willing to help with everything from holding the elevator door to taking my walker up and down the entry steps

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and quiet. Nice breakfast in the morning. Location was excellent and easy to get to Central Station.

We did not feel the bed was comfortable. Could just be personal preference.

The breakfast was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful and we absolutely loved the complimentary glass of wind and the courtyard in which to enjoy it. We also really liked the location.

Maybe just bit more storage in the guest rooms.

    Very kind staff.

Would have been nice to have more English language channels or perhaps smart tvs.

Basically the overall experience was excellent. Made my stay in Copenhagen a pleasant one.

Mention to guest about they need to insert their room key in the place provided to turn on the lights.

    10LawriePosted on: 2-11-2026

The staff, the vibe, the breakfasts. A great place to stay all round.

The street facing rooms can get noisy on weekends. Better to go for a courtyard room.

We ended up staying in the Absalon due to lift renovations being carried out. We were upgraded to a larger room and given complimentary bar vouchers for the duration of our stay. Would not hesitate to stay in either of these hotels again. Everything from the staff, the room, the cleanliness and the breakfast was excellent. We look forward to staying again on our next trip to beautiful Copenhagen

Great friendly staff, comfortable room and fabulous location

    8BurakPosted on: 1-27-2026

Due to lift renovations at Andersen Boutique Hotel, we stayed at Absalon Hotel, located directly opposite. The staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent. They stored our luggage free of charge until check-in time and after check-out. The location was excellent, the room was sufficiently large and clean. As there was a change of hotel, they gifted us a larger room and one bar voucher per person per day. The breakfast was adequate and varied. The rooms were warm. If I were to return there, I would choose the same hotel.

The breakfast was good, but it was always the same variety; it could be a bit more varied. There were no slippers in the room, and the hygiene kits were incomplete. Also, they were unaware that our hotel had been changed and that they would provide bar vouchers; we had to remind them.Other than that, there was nothing negative.

Arrived early not expecting our room to be available, but the staff were able to secure the room. Nothing was too much bother for all the staff. So welcoming.

Room size was not as expected, but was typical for the location.
