    Pros +

    • Location is very good.
    • It's been a while since I've had such friendly and accommodating people at the reception of a hotel. Rooms are very decent as well and the bar, though on the expensive side, is very nice and lively.
    • Switching one of our rooms was great and made half our party happy.

    Cons -

    • Room amenities were very minimal. Not even water bottle is provided as complimentary. Space was limited. Pillows & bed was very comfortable.
    • The first floor rooms they gave us were the worst in the hotel. One of the room was moved on night two to a much better room. It would have been nice to have our rooms together in the much larger and better rooms on the upper floors instead of the very hot and small rooms on the first floor.
    • Tiny and dark box room with little air flow despite open windows (not possible to open fully). Bad airco system which blew cold air onto my face at night. So I couldn't use the airco and there was hardly any air entering from the windows. It felt like a very claustrophobic room.

Nice style convenient to town. Beds were comfortable

Loud music across the street extremely loud during the day. After traveling all day we just needed to recharge but couldn’t with the loud music. A chipped glass in our room asked for a replacement and received another chipped glass. Room was too warm at night.

The hotel is beautiful and very luxurious and the hotel bar was great. The rooms were large with lots of light and very comfy beds. The location is excellent for exploring the city.

There is no help with the luggage and there is only one elevator

The hotel is so beautiful and located at a perfect place. Service and breakfast good. Bartender was fun and very service minded. The room was fantastic. I upgraded to The Crown suite and now is the hotel may favorite place to stay in in Köbenhagen.

    Nothing to dislike.

Great central location, we walked everywhere we wanted to visit.Hotel building is beautiful, and the room we were in was nice and comfy; but perhaps lacking a little 'Hygge' feeling - a bit bland, but clean, warm and comfy.Front desk reception staff v friendly and efficient.Great and relaxed cocktail bar on the ground floor.

Lack of character in the room.To have the room cleaned and towels changed, you need to signal by 9AM which is a little too early.

The room was very tidy and clean, and dark so that I could sleep well.

I could not figure out how to increase the room temperature - the control device did not appear to do anything. There were no instructions. The temperature was okay but I would have liked it warmer. I stayed one night and left early so I did not raise it with the staff.

We really didn't like this hotel.

It was sold as a four star hotel at just under £200/ night and I would describe it as a 2 to 3 seat hotel at best. The hotel is located in a back street which I didn't feel happy to walk alone on after dark. We walked in to find loud music blaring in the reception area. The room was dreadful: very tired with chipped paint, a broken shower control and black specks on our sheeting and worse of all it smelled of sewage. We asked to change room for the second night but the rooms offered looked no better. The breakfast was poor and the breakfast room was set out like a school dining hall. Dirty plates weren't collected and we had to move them ourselves to find a table to eat at. The hotel also seemed to be cutting corners in housekeeping and demanded that you hang a sign on your door before 9am if you wanted housekeeping. When checking out I heard two separate complaints that even when having done this no housekeeping had been provided. It was an awful experience that I will never repeat and to be honest I feel thoroughly ripped off.

Amazing sheets, really nice to have windows that open for fresh air. Appreciated the extra room and good service. Nice old building. Amazing things to do nearby, including Tivoli.

One tiny elevator for a whole hotel made for much waiting, especially with luggage. Also, our shower was a mere trickle while the water pressure through the faucet was great. Not sure what was going on...

great location, nice staff, clean hotel, very nice room

nothing specific - all was as expected! The room could be a bit more spacious but that's ok!

Had to pay for everything in room and there was no kettle, very noisy and staff were not happy to help.

    10JohnPosted on: 11-16-2025

It was very well located, room was very nice, the gym was well equipped and breakfast was very good. The staff always nice and friendly.

There were two trash containers outside that kind of spoiled the view.

    9TapioPosted on: 11-10-2025

Room had a carpet which was maybe causing some odor. Better ventilation specially before guests arriving would be recommended.

Excellent location and our room was beautiful. Had everything we needed with iron and board, hairdryer and coffee machine. Nice mini bar if you wanted it. Breakfast was such a fantastic selection had something for everyone and we LOVED it. Enjoyed sitting in the bar in the evening and enjoyed some lovely cocktails!

We found some staff very abrupt.

    The location

The lack of help the staff provided . No one wanted to help us with luggage . It was outrageously odd how they make all the guest store luggage in a luggage room . No one wants to help and they refuse and say no . Breakfast was so bad , very few options . I would never stay here .
