Pros +
- Location
- Centrally located. When I was abit lost I would look for the big spire. Close to Tivoli, the metro, restaurants.
- Breakfast
Cons -
- Noise from nearby bars, garbage truck and food service trucks at 5:00 am
- Noisy outside all night because we were next to bars, but could not change rooms since they were fully booked.
- Only the bathroom! Especially the shower area which is made of black tiles kind emitted a pungent smell before, during, after the shower. So if the manager is reading this, please ask the house cleaning to wipe with baking soda or any titles cleaner after each guest visit if it is even feasible. The breakfast was good for trying out once especially with the freshly pressed juices and the porridge, but maybe not more than once, I think maybe a more Danish focus would help higher ratings of the breakfast buffet.

The location! It was about 7mins walk from the train station and a minute walk to the town hall which was our main purpose of visit. We gradually found that the location is quite central to a lot of cool food spots which was heaven in the -3 degree cold. We stayed in room 231 and every hour, 30mins, 15 mins we heard the warm church bells. Also I read some reviews about not having kettle and was primed into thinking there isn't one until I found it behind the wardrobe cabinet, so yes. And yes there were some Cinema voices as another review said but not as bad, we just found it funny. The hotel itself! My initial feeling was that it was a hospital turned to a hotel due to its wide hallways and high ceilings and spacious rooms, but no, people back in the days just had higher standards for what a hotel means. The chandeliers, the warm yellow lights, the stairways were mesmerizing. PS the hotel is a great place for a fun "find me in this labyrinth" game, we had so much fun finding our room every now and then. The staff!Kind, professional and actually there for you and looked like they liked their jobs. Visiting from Germany the customer care just pleasantly surprised us. We really needed an iron box which came with the room, but on the day of it wasn't functioning, and our last minute asses called the reception, and the house keeping staff herself delivered a working one to our room, and made us test it haha, lovely lady.

Good breakfast and helpful staff.
No tea/coffee facilities in the room despite these being included at the time of booking the room. Our room was cold and we were provided with a very small fan heater to increase the temperature.
position is perfect, and make their best to make our room next door, which helps a lot.the breakfast is wonderful.
1. The carpet seems not clean.2. It is better to offer some water.3. we are confused by the breakfast price. but turn out, it was a really great breakfast. You should give us see some breakfast photos when we check in.
Nice hotel in the center. There is a lot to see nearby, either by walking or by metro. The staff was very friendly, the room was ok, and I really liked the shower.
When you enter the room, you feel that it is very cold, but the temperature during the night was ok. I expected a kettle or a coffee machine, as it was stated in the reservation. but unfortunately there was none of that.
The location is excellent, at the very centre of the city, next to the metro hub.
Oh my, never had that bad a stay in my life.1. There is no door dividing the bathroom/toilet with the bedroom; there is just a glass slide with a big hole and it doesn't cover the rooms fully, which makes all sounds come from the toilet to the bedroom, you can't close the door because there is no door. So because of this, my friend and me couldn't go to the toilet because there is no privacy + the glass which covers the bedroom with the bathroom is almost like a clear glass and you can see through it, see what the other person is doing in the bathroom.2. The room cleaning needs to be ordered day in advance, I did order it online, nobody came next day so next day at 4 Pm I went to reception and told them that there was no room cleaning, they told me that they will ask to clean it now, still nobody came and I had to live in dirty room, the next day I informed the reception again that nobody came to clean the room and they were surprised and told that there is no any requests to clean my room.3. The outside temperature was around 0 C but it felt cold at the mornings in the room, the heating was on MAX.
Bad, very bad !
Almost no heating during cold winter. No teakettle, no coffee & tea. Not very clean.
Near the city center and clean room. Too good breakfast and sitting area
Heating wasn't too good as it was snowing but the hotel provided a portable additional heater. Also, room charges were bit on the expensive side
Location is excellent. Good bed, bathroom was good.
Heating is inadequate wearing jumpers in the room, switches not working, no English TV stations or ability to stream, you have to ask via qr code to have the room serviced. Could hear neighbours in the next room. Biggest issue was the heating, seems many people have this problem here, if it was warm the other issues would probably seem minor
Generally good, location is in the center, very good restaurant inside.
The bad is not comfortable. The breakfast does not cost the money they charge.
The staff member working the night shift when I arrived was very helpful. He went out of his way on several occasions to help.
The property is very dated and not very nice. Dirty carpets and even stains in the bath. It don’t feel clean at all in the room. The bathroom door doesn’t close flush and the constant extractor fan that you cannot turn off humms all night long.
City centre location
The heating was broken in the entire building. When speaking to reception I was told “what do you expect, it’s a Scandinavian country” finally I was given an electric heater, which improved the temperature.
Very nice. Our room has great view direct to Tivoli. Inside, the room has spatial space with very comfortable furniture. The bathroom has excellent shower and bathtub. Perfect place that located in center of city.
I loved the location, very central and really easy to get to places. I felt very safe in my room as a female solo traveller. It was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was amazing and really good value for money and they had good gluten free options.
The walls are bit thin, so you can hear everything that the people in the rooms next door say.
Location, staff( really very nice), great breakfast.
The room facilities could use an upgrade.
The location is excellent and convenient as we can walk to many of the attractions and cafes. The reception staff was friendly and very helpful in assisting us to store our luggage when our flight was later in the day.
We felt that the temperature in the room was somehow still cold although we turn up the heater to its maximum.
Loved the room. Spotless and nice comfy bed. Breakfast was superb with a vast choice of foods
Nothing I didnt like
Great location on City Square, hotel is exceptional, staff very helpful, great breakfast.
