The stattHotel is located in the heart of the Old Town of Zurich on the Limmatquai, right behind the famous Gran Café Motta. Free Wi-Fi is available. All rooms feature flat-screen satellite TVs, a fan, a Nespresso coffee machine, and radio alarm clocks with iPod docking stations. Some rooms have a kitchenette. The landmark building of the statthotel was constructed in 1450 and has recently been completely renovated. The traditional Gran Café Motta is just around the corner, and the bar on the ground floor offers a pleasant setting for cocktails and conversation.

Pros +

The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean and new. The location was good too - walkable to the train station and Coop. It was nice that the hotel had an elevator. I only stayed for an overnight layover so it was a good stay for the price.

Cons -

The room was very small but you get what you pay for in an expensive city.
