it feels like home, nice staff and friendly atmosphere, one day we invited to a party hosted by hotel management, they involved with guests and long talks and conversations, awesome experience.place is calm beyond your expectations, the beach is piece of paradise, the wooden road is dreamy.

We have stayed here three times. The food and drink are excellent. The staff are helpful. The location is ideal for walks around the nature reserve.

The gym is equipment is dated in comparison to other 5 star hotels.

Fantastic hotel, great for families. The service was incredible - everyone was great but a special thank you to Barbara who really made our day every morning at breakfast and was so great with our young children. Fantastic location and views - we loved being able to walk straight from the hotel to the beach and along the boardwalk and explore the area. Great facilities and food - we loved breakfast and dinner in the bistro at night. Highly recommend!

Clean and tidy, location

We had to upgrade our room , had we known it did not have a view we would of done this when booking .

Great location, easy going, freindly, and accommodating staff, great balance of luxury and familiarity, elegant but not stuffy, lovely facilities. Could swim late without being harassed.

We loved the location overlooking the Ria Formosa and all the wild life. Great walking. Beautiful beaches. Hotel staff exceptional.

Everything!Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Food was obviously prepared by a first-class chef. All the swimming facilities could not be better - private beach, large pool, small pool, paddling pool and jacuzzi.

Very good breakfast except most of the cereal was stale very helpful friendly staff

Breakfast cereal was stale , upsetting moment at 06.12 a member of staff unlocked our door and walked in, we were naked on top of bed, he said sorry and walked out not good at all The worst thing was they charge 25 euro's for use of iron and ironing board , thats extortion in my book , we stay in lots of 5 star hotels and have never had any charge . There was no tea making facility in the room , but the bought it on request for no charge

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Lots of available loungers around lovely pool. Well stocked buffet breakfast

Pool bar whilst efficient if you were there, but it took too long to get drinks from loungers or seating area overlooking gardens. Would be better if Pool bar moved to a nicer location. Aircraft noise at 6am disturbing

Beautifully kept and stunning location with a great boardwalk which takes you to the beach. Quite a few very good restaurants within walking distance and the Hotel Seafood buffet on Sundays is excellent

There is no adult pool and we had two incidents during our stay where the pool was closed for a short time.A couple of dealings with reception where staff could have been more helpful but on the whole staff were excellent.

Loved the position of the property. Breakfast was really good. Staff were amazing

For a 5 star hotel there needs to be a coffee machine in the rooms. Also an iron and board this normally comes as standard in any 5star we’ve stayed in and not charged 15 euro daily. Sockets at the side of the bed also I had a cpap machine that I need to use nightly and this made it difficult to use

Have stayed before and been very comfortable

This time I felt that my room was not as comfortable as before . It felt tired and the offering from room service food was dire. Your breakfast chef only presents overcooked bacon, cold sausages,and boring sides. I left a message with my breakfast table that the toaster didn’t work, and how disappointed I was with their offering of the a la carte breakfast but no response!

Nice spot near the beach walk past Gigi’s

Room was uncomfortable- the bed had so many layers it felt like a heat trap and the air con is useless.The hotel needs an upgrade

The choice at breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. The pool was delightful with very friendly and helpful staff. The cocktail bar was great with very entertaining staff that created a lively atmosphere!

I don’t think you could have done better! We had everything we needed! Great place , great staff what more could you ask for?

No tea/coffee making facilities in roomHad to hire iron board and iron - would expect this to be provided for the standard of hotel

Lovely room with balcony. Nice touch being the gratis bottle of port, fresh fruit and bottled water. Very nice heated (25c) outdoor swimming pool on 4th floor overlooking the Rua de Formosa wetland park and beach beyond. Nice gardens. Very good breakfast.

At certain times of day you can definitely hear the planes coming into land at Faro airport not far away!

Location of hotel greatStaff very friendly - receptionist staff - restaurant staff - Barbara wonderful in the restaurant along with all the staff who were always so friendly - also the cleaners and room service staff

Location is wonderful and the staff were exceptional. A super room with a wonderful view.

The bathroom is looking a little tired and would benefit from a revamp.

There was a very good selection for breakfast and the pool bar also had a good choice of either snacks or more substantial meals. The room was supplied with fresh fruit and I was given a fabulous chocolate cake for my birthday!

Leaving ! Would have liked to have stayed longer
