The different styles of properties, the gardens and colours, loved that it was its own community

We weren’t told that 2 out of the three pools were closed when I specifically asked for an apartment overlooking pool so I could keep an eye on kids. The only pool open was too deep for the children so cudnt use it . This was our biggest disappointment as it’s why we booked there. The sheets and towels were all damp, when I requested extra blankets as we were finding it cold they never arrived . We had to ask for a change of sunloungers covers as all ripped, they were removed but not replaced plus our umbrella was also ripped up and we cudnt use it, it was replaced with a half umbrella. Accomadation was spotless. Great size and beds very comfortable. Restaurants lovely on site.

A little away from marine but short walk or uber

Unfortunately for us weather was wet and cold. Studio was very comfortable. Nice bar and friendly staff

Televison did not work for the duration of the stay despite attempts and visits to the reception for repair

Location was OK about half walk to the marina, which suited me.The room was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped Lots of tv stations

The reception area and service was extremely poor.The door locks are all outdated and the keys do not fit correctly.The security deposit has not been paid back to my account.

The flowers and gardens....Jakks...brought us to a beautiful French restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful. Highly recommended to all our friends and family. Im a gardener.. it was beautiful...gave me inspiration.

This was our third time to stay and we loved it every time until now.

We booked a studio with a balcony/patio as we had a 6 month old with us and we needed this for nap time and bed time. When we arrived the lady was as very short and told us we didn’t have a patio as there was no electricity. She said if it came back in a day or 2 she would move us, she never contacted us again. We were put in an apartment where we have to walk 4 flights of stairs every single time we left with a buggy and baby. It was an absolute nightmare!!

Ideal property for what we needed

We had an ant invasion in the kitchen and had to deal with that and the stairs up to the roof terrace were frightening as there was no barrier to stop you falling over the edge, if I had, had children visit, I would have been scared

Comfortable studio in a cute complex with amenities on site. Felt very safe

A little dated but didn’t affect experience. No loungers by the pool at prestige

The property was not a comfortable property . I have stayed in old village many times and this was a bad experience . Could even sit out on the loungers . Trees and bushes in front of the property . Property dark . Not comfortable , could hear every sound fromApartment above .

Everything about the property was good or better. Particularly like JAKK’s Bar and the adjoining Bakery.Accommodation very comfortable. Good swimming pool.

We did encounter a lot of flies but I believe this is just a fact of life in the warmer months.

Very uncomfortable hard beds and lumpy pillows, no bin provided in kitchen, only thin blankets on beds and had to ask for duvets which were provided without covers, no complimentary toiletries or tea/coffee, rubbish welcome hamper which we paid 25 euros for. Broken shower fixture which we reported and were told would be fixed but wasn’t. Not well equipped - very, very basic. Photo gave the impression that the apartment opens out onto the pool - it does not. The whole apartment needs a deep clean. Dirty cushions and sofa but have the cheek to ask for a damages deposit of 100 euros (which was refunded). Needs some TLC and basic Portuguese hospitality.

This is our 2nd time here. Location to marina and onsite shop, bakery and restaurants are handy. Clean apartment which had everything you need.

We had an apartment near the bar which can be noisy at happy hour.
