Room decor a bit tired and could do with an update

Apart from desk staff , most of cleaning staff ignored you and were quite rude when trying to engage them with good morning etc

The spa was not up to 5 star hotel in that the shower room floor was very wet, limited shampoo

The staff were excellent. The room was spacious and very comfortable big bed. Nice air conditioning. Lovely breakfast. And spotless. Food was very good too in restaurant and room service. We had a fantastic week there.

There could have been an ice machine somewhere in the hotel.

The swimming area is great! Plenty of shade and enough sun lounges. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The restaurant could serve more authentic Portuguese food. There was no bacalhau option at all.

The location. Close to the beach and a decent swimming pool, but a little bit small.

The food was terrible - the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve had at a hotel. They need an executive chef.

Super spacious and cool room. Also really great food.

Location was far from amenities.

Pool and breakfast and style of family room

The ‘health club’ was a closed jacuzzi and sauna. It’s so noisy overnight/early morning - you can hear everyone running down the corridors - sounded like they were moving furniture at 7am once. Enough to wake us all up.

Breakfast was fine but a little limited

We booked very last minute - if we had more time we probably would have booked the sister hotel as this one was dated

Lovely room, comfy beds, great breakfast buffet

Service wasn’t quite 4 star in my opinion. Beds were made in rooms but floor wasn’t swept and dirty glasses left for days without being changed.

The breakfast,buffet fabulous,staff at breakfast lovely and,cleaners very nice.Shuttle drivers very nice. Food and room service was excellent.

Bed was so hard,room was facing the Main Street and above reception door so I didn’t sleep at all .

Property was lovely. Rooms were nice and spacious and room was cleaned everyday. Balcony was also lovely. We could see the sea from ours. Location is good if you’re not looking to go many places and it’s easy to get their shuttle to the beach.

Staff weren’t informative at all. Was not told anything like even general information like check out times or when breakfast was. We constantly had to ask about everything. When we asked sometimes they where confused why we where asking the questions. The photos are also not correct and some photos are from the 5 star ria hotel which is much bigger and at a 5minutes drive in a different location. I assume they are sister hotels.

General location is good

The hotel is presented online as 4*+. In reality, it's a 2-3 star. I paid extra for the balcony with sea view, could barely see any sea. Shower head fell off on first use, hitting my wife on head. Final straw was baby dropping a log in the pool.

Breakfast was good. Location excellent.

The electricity kept going off in our room. This meant the air con went off in the night all the time. This was quite annoying. Staff also were not very helpful and often quite rude.

Great locations, clean rooms and comfy beds. Nice pool for the kids!

Wine selection wasn’t great and food could be improved. A lot of the staff don’t speak English .

Arrived late at night, just before 10pm. Restaurant closed of course, but Room service had a great menu and all available until 11pm. I enjoyed a very good dinner, Sea Bass and some really good vegetables for the fillets to sit on. Didn't get to enjoy dinner or the bar, but breakfast was good too.Great location for my purpose. I will be back there.

Rooms were a little stark

I stay here every year and I love it every single time

improve the swimming pool bar service

Room was spacious. We stayed in a 2 bed family room. Beds and Pillows were very comfortable. Black out curtains were great. Balcony with chairs overlooking the pool. spacious hallway as you walk in.Pool was lovely set in lush green gardens, exceptionally maintained.

A few items for the children like a pool table, some games for the older children would work well.Kids club was only for very small children but seemed great in terms of their facilities, it was just quite far away from the hotel, but they did offer a shuttle bus.
