Best Western Plus Hotel De La Regate

My room was private and quiet. I enjoyed it. loved the location and the staff was incredibly helpful theres a lake walk right next door.

To access the garage u have to get out of ur car each time to enter. I do wish rooms had a microwave and ac.

Confy and clean!

I had to park on the street, cuz the parking was full, even though I have disability parking permission! It was insanely cold, but the attendant tried to help me bringing my belongings inside! I was full of injuries on my legs because of an accident during a snowstorm, so I had to go inside with the injuries bleeding and so on!

Some of the staff were very responsive, some just grudgingly made an effort. If you have a car, they do have private parking outside.

At checkin they "forgot" to give us the room upgrade Booking.com offered: when they changed the room, they gave us a room with strong curry smells, but 3rd time was a "charm". Their dinner offers are heated pre-packaged food that doesn't look or taste good. Every bit of information we needed (gate code, internet access, etc) we had to ask for. At checkout we were charged for breakfast for 2 people for two days although we never used it: thankfully when we contacted the hotel the admitted and they fixed the problem. All in all not a very pleasant experience.

Very nice place for a short stop en route. Welcoming staff and very nice room - very clean, comfortable bed.

The staff were truly exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, VERY comfortable beds, breakfast was very tasty and there is a wonderful offering for dinner. The hotel is located on a gorgeous lake with plenty of walks available close by. We will be back

The only thing is that the rooms don't have air con (it's an eco hotel) so it got a little warm in the evening. We never asked if a fan was available so they may offer them im not sure.

Everything, staff was super friendly and attentive, nice quite small townhood with great lake and tacks, room was spacious and the view was great. Wonderful and comfortable stay, wish we have had more days there.

We arrived late tired in the dark with 2 dogs & the welcome was lovely & friendly excellent service & staff were attentive evening food very good . The selection of breakfast items excellent & set us up for the day . Hotel was fabulous with a beautiful setting & good walks . We are looking forward to staying again next year keep up the good work as we absolutely recommend a visit . Thank You .Regards Virginia Halstead .

Everything was very good .

The hotel was basic but comfortable and clean, the location was amazing with a large, park just minutes away right on the river. The staff were friendly and our meal was delicious.

Didn't stay because booking.com said there was a restaurant in the hotel, which we specifically asked for, and the only restaurants in the vicinity were Michelin star with prices we were not prepared to pay. They offered meals that could be brought in but had only spicy/curry or vegetarian which my wife can't eat. so we asked for a refund, including for the breakfasts we had paid for in advance. We had only been advised that there wasn't an actual restaurant in the hotel too late for us to cancel and look for a hotel which could offer an on-site restaurant. Booking.com passed the buck saying it was up to the hotel to re-imburse us and the hotel blamed booking.com and refused. Booking .com made a GESTURE of £38 said to be good will but nothing else. Sadly we are very dissapointed with both parties and would warn others to be very wary of using this hotel and never to use booking.com whose site info cannot be trusted! Guy C Barnard

Not a 4 star, booked as was supposed to have a restaurant on site but did not expect meals to be bought in from an outside company and microwavedThe meals were not worth the money, for the price would expect meals to be cooked by a chef on site not warmed by the reception staff

A decent hotel surrounded by a lovely green nature.

The ordered meal as dinner was in fact something reheated by the receptionist at the microwave oven, which I was reluctant to eat. There's no restaurant staff working afternoon. Breakfast was below basic and 19 euros / set, which I was charged is quite expensive.

Staff very friendly and polite . The property was in a perfect location . Lovely walks by the river and very peaceful.

Very pleasing design, clean, modern and a good location being in a quiet residential area and also close to the river and lovely walks.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Linens were nice. Door to exterior opened for fresh air.

Nice clean comfortable hotel. Handy location off the Nantes by pass in a little village. Staff were exceptionally helpful. They had Electric charger station. Flat fee for use of 15 euro.

Food was sourced by the hotel from a nearby restaurant. But was fine.

Good location, very clean and friendly staff

Apart from the breakfast which was excellent, the choice of food was very poor with only microwaved dishes available cooked and served by a single staff member who was also the receptionist. For a large chain the lack of adequate nourishment facilities for travellers was very dissapointing
