Novotel Nantes Centre Gare

Excellent hotel, friendly and efficient service, bar and restaurant great. All facilities in one place room service good. All in all a pleasant stay with no problems.

Not a lot

I appreciatted very much the staff kindness. No issues nor charges for a later checkout and luggage storage. The breakfast was good without any issue to find a table. The location is great, close to city center and train station. The room was clean.

In general the room is quiet, but there is an isolation issue, I could hear the conversation from another room. The sofa bed is not comfortable. The bathroom sink drain was not working properly and had to be removed to drain the water.

Great location, easy parking and 10 minutes walk into the old town area.

It was old hotel, and wasn't 4 star at all, but 3 star, and needs renovetion, rooms are in bad condition

The bathtap looked like it has not been scrubbed for a long time. Towels looked and did not smell as clean as they should be. No shower curtain at the bath tap so water all over the place after a shower. Paper towels were empty

Too few amenities. Could have used a few more hooks for towels or towel bars. Maid service could be improved.

Awesome location,, great staff, friendly helpful, spoke English.

Had to constantly go back to the reception because access cards to the room stopped working, sometimes more than once per occasion. The packed breakfast was a joke. There was some times a bad smell in the elevator and room.

The Staff were delightful and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. The location was excellent. Would definitely return.

What a nightmare

Such such a bad experience with the night staff - I arrived late after a long day travelling just to be told that they could not find my booking even tough I had a reservation number sent by the hotel itself.His 1st reaction was to tell me to find another hotel....it was past midnight!!! After 15min of negotiation, he gave me a basic room but making me feel like a liar!!!BUT the best of the story was after when he came to my room at 6.30am!!! just to tell me that he kept looking and could not find my booking.....why do you wake someone up just to tell him that!!! Went to the reception at 7.30am tired and upset, and with the day staff in place, they told me that everything was fine and they had my reservation.I thought Accor would understand what the word "customer" is

The waiter was so lovely and he was the friendly face we needed after being disappointed with the room and also a debacle over parking our car. We had a roof box and although our car was under 2 m we really struggled to find secure parking. Ultimately we parked right outside hotel for which we were grateful but would not stay here again nor would recommend it. Basic.
