Victimized, traumatized, and threatened!!

I didn't like much of anything. Especially not the attitude of the receptionist / management. We travelled many hours by plane. We walked some distance to get to the Hotel/Motel (*shithole).We are usually very fast and efficient at either checking in or assisting in bag storage, but in this particular case the manager hid out the back of his office starring at the monitor, offering no assistance (*unfortunately not surprising). We located a kind cleaning lady who was very informative, but was unable to help us with our luggage & check-in queries. When then asked when the receptionist would be available at the hotel, or when their shift begins. They said 5:00pm on the dot (*a fib). When then sat down in the lounge section, to hydrate and quickly organise another location to store our bags for a short period (*ridiculous we even needed to consider this, honestly) seeing as though nobody on the hotel checking staff was actually in attendance...Fast forward 5-7 minutes: the receptionist/manager comes bellowing out!! Screaming at us and telling us we cannot rest and must leave immediately without any questions of if we are guests or need help! Zero humility or professionalism! Totally unwarranted rage! We were shocked, scared and threatened for our own wellbeing + safety! This receptionist/manager was exclaiming racist remarks towards my partner (who is brown) and was creating some idea that we were rude to his cleaning staff member & that I personally was somehow a sexist?? Not sure we pulled that from??Safe to say we disagreed respectfully with his racist and rude remarks, and agreed to leave immediately (matter of seconds).In summary; We feel victimized, traumatized, threatened and do not recommend any sane respectable person, stay here or put up with this kind of behavior. Go to Hotel F1 instead. Save your money and stay safe....A truly authentic French experience ✨️

Receptionist was so rude. The carpets and the room in general smell very bad. The position of the television prevents the window from opening. There were mosquitoes in the room and this prevented me from sleeping well. Internet connection was very bad and not secure. Nothing was good.

Breakfast was good. Interesting artwork on the stairs.

Room seemed cramped, tired and dingy. No facilities other than the obligatory TV. I think hot water was available but only if one went downstairs to the reception area. After a 400 km drive a small kettle in the room would have been good as would have been a list of eateries nearby and how to get to them.

Quiet place with the big shopping centre nearby. The staff members were okay, except the one old receptionist who seems to be a rude guy.

The shower is very small. There wasn't any socket to charge my phone and powerbank in the room except the one where TV was connected.

The position close to the main road (I was road tripping, wasn't planning to visit Nantes). And it was the cheapest I could find for sleeping just one night.

The room was very small; the bathroom looked like one you could find on a boat. You can not lock the door from inside the room, which didn't make me feel super confortable...The worst thing: there is a code to access the building at night, I was given the code but the last digit was missing, so I actually struggled a lot to get in at night. And there's no emergency phone, so I could have just as well remained locked out...

The check-in time written in the description is serious, I texted the hostel if I could come early but no reply, then I came early, no one was there, couldn't enter or leave the luggage there. The location is not good, it's faraway from the centre, and the bus stop to go to the centre. Only reason to stay is to catch blablacar or flixbus early in the morning.
