Best Western Hotel Graslin

staff very pleasant, breakfast exceptional, great location . Rooms very "steam punk " if you like that sort of thing . I presume in homage to Jules Verne on the Iles de Machines nearby

Nice hotel, I've stayed many times but in January last the room was cold and in the morning no hot water for the shower . Apologies given but no recompense. I have had a similar experience elsewhere in January . In your hotel is open it should be heated properly , cost savings no doubt but it shoudn't impact on guests

Small room, not a lot of room to move around bed.Shower floods bathroom when used, floor becomes extremely slippy, very dangerous.

Location was the reason we picked this hotel- perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was ideal - plenty of hot water. Charming staff.

Nothing of any significance.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western. The rooms are on the small side and felt a bit cramped and dated, but were very clean. Overall, the rooms were as expected for a 3-star hotel. Very well located though, so worth compromising on room size. The best thing about the stay was the staff, who were wonderful, so welcoming and helpful.

The staff were lovely and stored our bikes securely. The room had good airconditioning - essential as it was 40 C outside! The breakfast was nice, although the yogurt I chose was out of date.

All round good value for money for a 3 star hotel compared with others in the city, and we checked a few.Wonderfully quirky with decor linked to Jules Verne (relevant for the city). Good location fir airport shuttle bus stop. 10 mins walk.Very good value breakfast and you don't need to book for every morning of your stay. (Local cafes do not offer good petit dejeuners).Very quiet in the evenings. Good location for tourist attractions, restaurants and bars.Very pleasant and helpful staff.We extended stay from three nights to a whole week.

Room/maid service could be better. You need to clean your own cups and replenish tea and coffee sachets etc. No milk sachets neither, so take your own.Oh and if English is your main language, just the usual two English language news channels. Take a tablet/ipad!

I loved the character of the room. Ours was a corner room with windows facing out on a couple of angles. The common room on the ground floor has comfortable chairs and a chilled water and sparkling water dispenser for drinking there or to carry a flask to your room. We used and enjoyed that a lot!The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel feels relaxed and interesting with the Jules Verne theme.

The only tricky part might be using the shower without splashing water outside the bath. But it wasn’t a big deal.

Location

The bedroom was filthy. There were hairs all over the sheets. There were a few red or brown spots smeared on the wall. There was dirt that clearly was over by the window there for a very long time and lots more dirt on the radiator. In short it was absolutely disgusting. We were shocked by this level of filth. We had to move to a different room which was better but not the standard you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The carpet on the floor was old, stained and dirty looking as well as along the hallways. I can only upload 4 images but I have lots more of the dirty room. Shocking!

Nicely decorated room, but rather small though. Well working A/C which is great as summers can be very hot in Nantes. Super nice staff and a great location with beautiful place Graslin and a nice little park just around the corner

Nice interior, top location (quiet but just a few meters away from the the buzzling center), very friendly staff, clean rooms.

Almost perfect, one of the rooms could have been a bit bigger, but I guess because it’s an old building it’s not so easy ;) besides this a lovely stay

Great location (Place Graslin), close to the city restaurants and river. Acceptable room, with very friendly staff. Good walking distance from the railway station, but metro available if required.
