    Location, staff

Bathroom/toilet arrangement would have been better as a separate room rather than divided from bedroom by curtain.

    3AndreaPosted on: 6-12-2025

The breakfast was the typical buffet style but acceptable. The room was extremely small and gloomy, hard to carry our bags through very narrow and poorly lit corridor.

The decor of the hotel is mainly black, all walls are black, doors and the corridor to our room was awfully dark and narrow. It took away our expectations of a good place to spend two nights.

Nice decor, comfortable room and excellent location in the city centre and opposite the chateau. The gated parking facility is a definite plus as an option and the manager of the hotel was outstanding. Nice hotel and would definitely come back.

Great small hotel in a fantastic location

The shower was a little challenging for me at 184cm

    9MaevePosted on: 4-30-2025

Breakfast was excellent and room was very comfortable

No showed cap or face cloth

    7PierrePosted on: 4-29-2025

Nicely located in center and close to the train station . And good pricing.

For my standards which are quite high , old style and will need some renovation work.

    9AdrianPosted on: 4-19-2025

Location and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Had a small problem with coffee machine but staff sorted it immediately. Nice coffee.

    8JocelynPosted on: 3-22-2025

It fulfilled our need to be close to the station. It is also a short walk to the shops, bars and good restaurants where there is a lively night life.

The decor is dingy, there was no WiFi in our room. There were silver fish in the bath room and only a curtain separating the bathroom and the bedroom, although the WC was separate.

    7AdrianPosted on: 2-8-2025

Quiet, clean room, close to railroad station.

    Overpriced

    8JanePosted on: 12-18-2024

Handy location within eady walking distance of both the train station and the historic old town. Bath. Air con/heating

No english tv. A bit complicated to get to our rooms with bags, using lift, up and down flights of stairs and a few other steps but we were shown to our rooms in person. If we had been staying more than a night i'm sure we would have got accustomed to the best route. No kettle

    Fabulous location and lovely staff

The bedroom lighting was so dark it was almost impossible to see anything.

Very basic. Tired decor, very small

    8PatrickPosted on: 9-24-2024

    Great location and nice breakfast

The room on the 5th floor was a little small for 2 people sharing

    5AndrewPosted on: 9-16-2024

I had a reasonable-sized room in quite a central location, convenient for the SNCF station and the castle.

There was an unfortunate odour in the room, which I could not completely dispel by leaving the window open for a while.

    5JaynePosted on: 9-16-2024

The location was excellent, staff also very lovely

We booked superior rooms for both visits. The first one was bigger and had a tiny coffee machine with 2 coffee pods. The second room was tiny with no coffee facilities at all. The toilet stank of pee. The whole place inside is dark . Definitely not worth the price we paid .

The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Unprompted they suggested where to eat on a Sunday and also about the free public transport. They also offered garage space for our motorcycle. The room was very spacious and clean but the bed a little too firm for me. The location is very central and convenient.

The bed was a little too firm for me! The layout of the hotel is quite spread out and took a little getting used to. Also the corridors and stairs are decorated in very dark materials and quite low lighting. I found it quite a challenge.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Parking facilities were good. Location was perfect
