- Location
- This is a one star hotel at best.My room smelled like an old bum's nut sack when I first entered it. Fortunately the air con helped that situation; otherwise I would not have been able to endure the assault on my olfactories.
- Staff is very kind. Location is exceptional near center and metro station.
Cons -
- No shower box .No kettle.
- Uncomfortable beds. Smelly room and bathroom all the time. The room needs a deeper cleaning. The shower didn't have any curtain or door, so the floor got messy and wet easily.
- I think walls were last time painted fifty years ago, furniture is also from that period... I saw in toilete bad bugs and we were lucky that we were not being bitten...

Good location. One member of the staff was nice.

The staff at Claridge was incredibly kind and very accommodating when we needed something. They are there 24/7 if you have any problems or questions. There is a restaurant right outside which was incredibly convenient when we arrived late at night and did not feel like walking far to get food. We stayed here before island hopping, and I forgot my airpods in the room and was able to message them. They found them and kept them safe for me until we returned back to Athens which was incredibly helpful and kind. Can't beat the price.
Obviously this was not a fancy hotel, and probably could have been more comfortable. There were no windows in our room and the space was small, but that is what we expected for the low cost.
Good location, basic room with needed amenities.
Room smelled like cigarettes.
Location only
Internet service VERY VERY VERY BADAC Not working normally Elevator very small
Perfect location. Few minutes walk from the metro.
The building was old but clean.
The staff (especially the young guy) are very accomodating and very friendly.
Extremely poor wifi. The building and room itself are so dirty. Stains are everywhere.
Location
The room was dirty. They advertise air-conditioning but they dont let you use the air con. I asked because i didnt sleep the entire time i stayed there. It was too loud and especially too hot to sleep. Early may.
location is fantastic. placed in Omonia everything is reachable on foot. we did not need to move our car for three days. near cheap bazar and expensive shops, it can be good for you. main attractions near.
but it lacks someone to clean the place. especially if you get the stairs it would scare you a lot the level of uncleanliness on the empty two floors. however the rooms and the hotel floors were ok. problems with the shower, but passable.
Support of Nikos in the evening for any issue with the city information - metro - stadiums - and also with the beautiful Greek language - Efgaristo Poli
Nothing special, it's a 80's classic hotel
Very nice staff, it was clean, good location
There was only a sheet to cover and a very old blanket, which was clean but didn't look good
Nothing good at all.
Disgusting place. Dirty everywhere, let's not talk about the washroom condition, without any waterproof curtain in the shower, all the floor was soaked of water with dirt. Smell of drenage sewer in the washroom, meanwhile inside the the walls and furnitures were smelling of cigarettes. Walls of the room spoiled, with spit spots and other various colour spots, which I do not even know how to describe them. Found bed bugs on my bed. Bed itself was making a lot of noises when you were on it anf the pillow was like a stone. I spent 2 nights without resting properly. AC remote controller door attached with a plaster. Furnitures are old and wrecked. Wi-fi system was not working properly. In front of the room entrance there was a dump of televisions. The staff as well is not professional. Please, avoid this place even if you are trying to save money. It's not worth of it. I advice you to avoid that place.
The hotel is basic, old, and its facilities are not well maintained. For the price you can't ask for much. The positive point is the location.
I recommend improving the facilities and performing maintenance
Good location close to public transport, a mini market and a bakery/cafe.
The hotel was generally dirty and smelly. It hasn't been redecorated for a few decades, and thus it smelled of dust and old cigarette smoke. The corridors and stairways smelled of cigarette smoke, too. The hotel cafe/bar is non-existent - it's closed (piles of old furniture and rubbish visible through glass doors. Piles of dusty old furniture/rubbish in the corridors and staircases. Also, we didn't feel safe in the room - there was no possibility to lock it from the inside (no chain, no lock, not even possible to put the key into the lock from the inside!).
It was a room and I got sleep.
Got in late, night staff didn't greet us - they just said I.D. The lobby smelt of smoke. Room itself was incredibly basic - bed/bathroom/A/C/Wardrobe. Door to outside struggled to open it to let in air. A/C was loud and blew mainly warm air. Shower head was at hip level, no shower curtain. Bedding was to small for the bed.
24 hours reception, central location, only steps from the subway, big supermarket next door. Rooms cleaned daily and sheets changed which was unnecessary. Efficient and friendly check-in. Comfortable room with AC, fridge, strong hot shower, etc. Overall great value!
It's an older building, so go with it, and enjoy the central location instead..
The location was excellent. Staffs were very helpful. It was a good stay for 3 nights.
Some guests were smoking at night. The hotel doesn't probably have a smoke detector.
