Pros +
- The room was large, spacious and very clean. The bathroom was handicap-accessible. The breakfasts were wonderful! But most of all, the help (we met 4 young ladies) was most friendly! They made us feel very comfortable and at home. Very highly recommend!
- The staff was very helpful. The rooms very modern & breakfast very good.
- The staff, the room, the breakfast all was wonderful
Cons -
- None-it was great!
- Hope they have 24hr front desk service in the future.
- It’s so close to the road and the windows are not good, you will hear every single noise from the road, it’s close to the road that has cars all night, we barely slept. The windows also don’t have dark curtains so you will have light all night. They also don’t have any service so they can’t help with bags or anything, we had a baby lots of bags and a stroller and didn’t get any help. It’s a literal apartment with no service.

The reception staff were 5 star .... very helpful and we always received a quick response to our Emails prior to our arrival .... nice breakfast included, nice room amenities and great air conditioning .... location about 15-30 minutes from most attractions, old town and restaurants .... only comment is the local neighborhood is not up to the quality of the hotel .... we had no safety issues but it's a bit run down .... we would stay there again
The apartments are okay for families, they have two bedrooms and good space for Athens

The hours for breakfast are a little late for peak season., opens at 730am. Most tours of the city require a very early start because of heat and crowds. The staff did provide a box breakfast which was nice one morning. Nice selection was offered.Although the hotel is located in a questionable area we did feel safe most of the time. Walked and enjoyed restaurants that were in the area, particularly Maronite; where we ate. Very easy and affordable Ubers to all the major sites which are 10 minutes or less away.
I would not recommend booking tours through the hotel. I booked a private day tour to Delphi and it was very disappointing. The driver was suppose to provide sightseeing comments and highlights as we traveled to Delos. He did not. We were aware he would not be a guide at the sites. He was not aware that our was tour was to include 3 additional sites to visit. Luckily our son realized the driver was driving back to Athens and we were able to stop at one of the stops but it was very rushed. Very disappointed that the hotel did not seek any compensation on our behalf. Very expensive loss for a once in a lifetime trip. The tour was sold with high ratings from hotel and included supposedly reviews from satisfied customers. As I said very disappointed with the hotel person and her lack of concern when confronted with the issue.
The front desk staff are superb! Very friendly and helpful. Their mission is to make the guest feel at home. Breakfast is very good with good variety. They even provided gluten free bread for my stay.

Lovely staff and excellent breakfast options. Very clean and friendly.
A bit of a walk to major sites and shopping.
Staff, value for money
Lighting inside makes it feel smaller, not enough natural light
Room was small but very nice. Staff was helpful and courteous. Good breakfast. Location among locals, but still near the sites.
Small room. No blackout curtains.
The studio apartment had everything we needed. It also had a small terrace which is nice in the middle of the city. The location was handy for all the attractions in Athens. It was immaculate and had the advantage of breakfast included in the cost of the apartment. There was a great choice of food at breakfast with fantastic freshly squeezed orange juice an extra plus! The staff were attentive and friendly, always available to give any advice if required.
I couldn’t fault anything.
The hotel was gorgeous. A very unique hotel with stunningly designed rooms. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The rooms were well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay and it was much larger than your typical hotel room. The black out blinds were brilliant!
We must have been out of season for the Aircon in the room which was frustrating as we were warm at night! It's a very personal opinion as we know you can't please everyone, but the bed was on the very firm side! If you're looking for a city centre hotel, this is about a 15/20 minute walk from the city in a quiet part of town. We didn't mind it but it's worth mentioning for those who want to be in the thick of the city.
Breakfast was fab, beds comfy. RoomsA lovely large size. Blackout blinds were great. Heard no noise at all. Staff super helpful. Faultless
We enjoyed many parts about our stay at Estia! The staff was incredible, so friendly and informative. The breakfast, which was included with the price of the stay, was the best we’ve ever had. The recently renovated property offered comfort and charm, and a great location to sights like the Acropolis. We also felt safe walking throughout the neighborhood.
We would offer two minor considerations. The shower in our room was covered with a film of mildew and/or mold. Before we showered, the stone felt slippery, which was not a good sign. In addition, our window only included a thin, light-filtering veil, which did not block any streetlights or sunlight. Please clean the showers more thoroughly before guests arrive and add blackout curtains to the rooms and it would be PERFECT!
Very tastefully decorated.A short walk away from the central busier areas of Athens.Close to nice restaurants.Excellent, welcoming staff.A good choice of food at breakfast.
The rooms did get a little too warm in the night. There were other guests staying above our room moving furniture around in the night and did keep us awake - can’t blame the hotel for this though.
