Pros +
- The location was excellent — just a 4-minute walk from Monastiraki Square, and two metro stations were nearby, which made getting around Athens very easy. The rooftop was a highlight: the view over the city and the Acropolis was absolutely stunning, especially in the evening. The hotel felt quiet, safe, and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, supportive, and welcoming — always kind and ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was very clean and well maintained, and housekeeping was done daily.A special mention to the cleaner, Vivian — we had such lovely conversations about Greek and Armenian culture, which made my stay even more memorable. I also appreciated how peaceful it was at night, with no noise at all, so I could truly rest and enjoy my time in Athens.
- Amazing , close to everything you need Clean , hot water , elevator and the best is the espresso machine in the room ☕️
- The location is excellent. The rooftop patio view on the Acropolis was exceptional!! Room was large and comfortable. Great shower. We would stay there again.
Cons -
- Nothing — everything was great! ?
- Everything was perfect
- Our taxi driver gave us the wrong side of the street to find the hotel (because that is where Google maps has the hotel located) so we were a bit confused. It is not easy to locate as the window on the door behind a low hanging awning has the hotel's brand on it and the door is between a restaurant and an ATM. Best to use street view and pictures from the booking site to hone in. However, it was a beautiful morning, and we were mesmerized by the spectacular sunrise at street level. If you are set on a view of the Acropolis from your room, ask about it at booking. You have a 50% chance of getting a room with that view when you book the top floor (Temple view) and we did not get it because I assumed that was what I was paying for and did not think to ask. The temple we did get was lovely, but it was not the view I was hoping to surprise my husband with. Note: He was still thrilled.

The room was quite large and clean and just a lovely refuge. Loved the Nescafe and the rooftop deck to drink it on. Crazy to see the Acropolis and so much history right in front of me from the deck. It was nice to watch the city wake-up. The staff was amazing and responsive to emails and messages before, during and after our stay. We felt really well taken care of. Once we found the place the first time, it was easy to locate for the rest of our trip.

The view and location were fantastic. Exciting to see how close we were to the Acroplis. Great for people-watching as they rush or stroll through the city.Management was helpful in many ways, including setting up our transportation from the cruise ship, then to the airport at the end of our stay.Perhaps the best part was the rooftop terrace. It offered an incredibly beautiful view of the city.I should add that it felt very safe. The building was secure as was our room.
This I only mention to give potential travelers a heads-up. It did not truly detract from our stay; we took it as part of the Athens experience. The reception area was not much more than a hallway in size and at first I feared we were in the wrong place. The elevator was very small. If two people road it together, they should like each other very much! That was actually fun after long days of walking. I LOVED the spiral staircase, but it needed more regular cleaning. I wanted to take a video of going up and down it, but kept waiting for after it had been swept and mopped. The last part is the ONLY thing that _might_ keep us from staying again: the furniture was not comfortable for our aging bones. Some may like the very firm mattress and livingroom seating, but we found it difficult to comfortably rest. That might have been different for us if we were twenty or so years younger.
Excellent location - walking distance to all major attractions.Beautiful room - extremely spacious by European and American standards (we stayed in a Family Suite). 4 separate beds which was a great surprise.
Make sure you are ready to drop off your bags when check-in person may not be there - it's not a full-service hotel. However, they were extremely receptive, respond to messages right away. Communication was easy .
The hotel was located in the most ideal spot.
Check in was a bit difficult as we arrived early and had some trouble contacting someone so that we could leave our bags inside the hotel. However, we didn’t have to wait that long and were able to leave our bags in the hotel. We didn’t love that we were directed to leave our bags in the hallway as we were worried about our belongings being stolen, but we had no issues. Once our room was available, the hotel staff kindly moved our bags into our room.
Amazing views and the host was absolutely incredible and very friendly!
Honestly the only reason I didn’t give it a perfect 10 rating is because the AC wouldn’t cool the room so it was sweltering while we were trying to sleep. Otherwise everything was amazing!
The location, the staff and daily upkeep . The nespresso machine and little kitchenette area
The bathroom can use a couple more shelves
Comfortable bed, cool air conditioning. Quiet even though it’s in the city.
Very compact, if the airline didn’t lose our luggage, I’m not sure where we would have put it!
A great spot, right on the fringe of the heart of Athens, allowing for quiet nights, but right near everything exciting during the day. Does a 20 minute walk to the acropolis, and there are more restaurants and shopping options within walking distance than we could count. Room is extremely spacious, clean, functioning, bathroom, and extremely helpful staff.
Not necessarily a negative, but it does appear to be a bar/club blow the building they can get very loud when they were parties going on. However, due to Athens laws, the music promptly stopped at 11 PM and it was absolutely silent the rest of the night. So not really a negative, just something to give people a heads up if they need to catch an early night sleep before a flight.
The room has a great location near the archeological sites in Athens so it makes exploring those very easy.
The bed was kind of hard. Which some people like, I just prefer a cushier bed. Also the restaurants and bars on the bottom floor and around the hotel get pretty loud at night,
Excellent location! with walking distance to eateries, including takeout, al fresco restaurants with nice ambience, , bakeries, local fares. Hop on hop off bus, train station, vintage markets, boutiques less than 5 minute walk.Hotel itself is very quiet, never heard anyone moving around, but if you want to partake in whatever is going on outside, our room had multiple huge windows with view of the street, park, could hear locals playing music on the weekend. Nice location for immersion The rooftop garden terrace is wonderful with seating and 360° unobstructed view. Each time we went up there we were alone and was able to set up meals using tableware from the room, and hung out up there uninterrupted A boutique Hotel in true sense of the word with pleasant, helpful staff Will definitely return and highly recommend
Kind staff, coordinated transfers, easy check in and check out.
AC wasn’t working properly, TV screen wasn’t displaying accurately, shower insufficiency cleaned.
Great location. Authentic old Greece.
The beds were very uncomfortably hard.
The room Mraz wide and very beautiful it had a lot of space. The bathroom was great. The shower very good. It was all clean.
I do have to say that the mattress was really not good and my back hurt after sleeping there.
Thin towels, very hard lumpy bed, one unsatisfactory pillow, not enough bedding, non-blockout curtains, noisy.
Everything! Amazing location. Apartments wonderful. Stunning rooftop terrace. Staff friendly, very helpful and speak great English. I very highly recommend this accommodation! It’s perfect!
The location was amazing. The room was clean and Dimitra at reception was very pleasant and kind making us feel right at home. We are looking forward to coming back. The rates were really good now.
The view from the roof is amazing!
We loved the rooftop where you could see the Parthenon. We were central to everything… Location, location, location. The place was very clean and the host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend this place.
