Pros +
- The breakfast was brilliant and a nice atmosphere and staff but not impressed with the room situation and the staff didn't seem to care too much. I have a back issue and it was tough sleeping on a camp bed for nine nights with a very thin foam mattress
- It was close to main road
- Location is very Good. The personal in front desk is very nice
Cons -
- The lack of a proper bed for both me and my friend despite booking and confirming by email that two separate beds were required we had to share a double the first night and then moved to a room with a temporary camping bed next to a double with no space
- They said not many steps but 4 flights to room
- The clean Staff stole some of my things in the backpack. (My new and Beautiful dress. Breakfast disappoints.

Location and breakfasts
Small rooms
Location was great.
Beds were terrible. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. And the A/C hardly worked
The staff was friendly & accommodating arranging our taxi to the airport.
No air conditioning. Shower door was broken. Friends found a bed bug in their room.
everything was perfect, kind staff, great location, clean and comfortable room. Thank you for your hospitality
nothing of value to refer
The position and the staff.
When I take a shower the floor gets too wet.
The location is exceptional.. green, pedestrian area with direct view to the Acropolis Important to know: make sure you don't get a room on the first floor since there is no view because of the hotels sunsail at and it's pretty noisy, order a room on the 2. or higher floor ..
The central location everything is reachable by foot
The staff was amazing and extremely welcoming.
The beds are not for tall people (taller than 5"11 and for people with hip or knee problems. The beds sleep really comfortable but they are really low.
We loved the amazing and welcoming staff. The location was perfect.
The beds are very low to the floor even though they sleep comfortably. They are not for tall people 5"11 or for people with knee or hip problems.
Amazing location!!! Within walking distance to the acropolis, restaurants, shopping…
Staff not very friendly or helpful. I asked the guy for help opening the door to the balcony and his answer was “what do you want me to do? Brake the door? I was shocked and never asked for anything else.
Location!!! Small coffee shop in lobby excellent cappuccino!
Room was very small and no windows
Fantastic location, just near to the attractions and cafe's. Rooms are small and good with a good balcony. Staff is good
The staff was great
Rooms are tired and smallBreakfast was just ok
Close to dining areas and Acropolis.
We got rags for towels, towels I would have gotten rid of in my home long time ago. They looked very dirty and that was all we had to use.
This location cannot be beat. It is within walking distance of major attractions and shopping. The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Thanks to everyone at Phidias
The beds we a little hard but nothing that did not spoil our stay at this hotel.
The location was the only thing good about this property.
The room was adequate. But then we saw the shopper. The door was broken off of the shower and a long strip of vinyl had fallen into the shower. I could see immediately we were going to have a problem with water flowing into the bathroom and on the floor. I asked the front desk for extra towels. They said we could have them, but they were never delivered. The desk clerk when we checked in, said that it had been broken for three days. I believe her name was Marella. We left for a while and had dinner and when we came back, there were still no towels. We had one bath mat. My friend took her shower and the floor was flooded at least a half inch of water on the entire bathroom floor as she stepped out of the shower. The large vinyl strip tripped her and she fell and slipped on the wet floor. It wasn’t a bad injury, but she had a bruise on her leg two days later. In the morning when we checked out, I told the day manager and she dismissed it and said a technician would repair it in a few days. Well, that certainly wasn’t going to help us. I told her my friend fell and she nearly laughed and said why would she fall? We were checking out but checking in again two days later. Because of the dismissive attitude, I asked if we could cancel. She said that was not possible. She would not let me speak with a manager. She had no understanding and never said she was sorry for our situation. I asked for a receipt, and I waited 15 minutes and she was still unable to give me a receipt The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had in Greece and I am there at least four times every year. It was the first I stayed at this hotel and it certainly would be the last. I take things in stride, but the attitude of Maria at the front desk was deplorable. She has no customer service skills. She has no empathy or understanding. And it’s her way or the highway. I complained to customer service with booking.com and they apologized and reached out to the property manager.
Location
We stayed one night in room 203 to be very disappointed. We saw that the shower had no doors and was broken. I knew this was going to be a problem and I contacted the front desk. Marella was in charge. I asked for extra towels to soak up the water that I knew would be pouring out of the shower onto the bathroom floor. They were not delivered. We went out to dinner and when we returned, there were still no towels. I called again, but they were not delivered All though we were careful during a shower, the water came out onto the floor and was measurably deep going down the drain very slowly. A large piece of vinyl stripping also fell into the shower, causing a tripping hazard. My friend slid on the floor and fell hitting her hip on the edge of the shower. This posed serious problem for people stepping onto the slippery floor. This morning when I spoke with the front desk, Maria said oh don’t worry Madame the technician will come and fix the shower in a day or two. Well it’s too late. She was not at all sympathetic to the condition of the room. That should never have been assigned to a customer in the condition that it was in. This bothered me greatly and I have another reservation checking in on the September 4 and checking out on 6 September. Because of the attitude and the lack of interest in the problem, I asked if we could cancel and she said no. She continued to assure me that the problem would be fixed, but it’s too late for us. We already experienced the inconvenience and my friend fell. So i asked for the cancellation of the upcoming reservation and a refund of those two nights because quite frankly, I do not trust the Hotel to make good decisions. In addition the air air-conditioning shut off three times during the night and was very hot. I would not recommend this hotel and I do not want to return. You need a staff that is more sensitive to the needs of your customer. Also, in the morning, we discovered that the breakfast was very poor.
Very close to the acropolis, great dining, shopping and metro
Needs some updating in the bedrooms
