Pros +
- The staff were friendly and helpful. We were also pleased to pet the resident cat which the hotel adopted off the street! Its location near Omonia Square makes it easy to get anywhere in the city. Lots of hot water and great air conditioning.
- Low cost.
- affordable price, pretty clean room and excellent staff!
Cons -
- The neighbourhood is a bit dirty and run down. Open air drug use at all times of day, though we felt completely safe anytime before 11pm. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the shower is designed poorly so it flooded the bathroom floor.
- A/c not working. A number of abandoned buildings in area. Noise at all hours of night.
- bathroom could use some renovation and upgrade

Friendly staff and cleanliness
Not in a very nice part of Athens lots of refugees about so a bit unnerving and can be intimidating otherwise good.
Near Omonia Square in Athens. Only negative is very tight quarters in bathroom. Son said we can wash feet, use toilet and use sink at the same time LOL. Laundry 1 block away and Coffee shop is also nearby. Then from there on September? To breakfast .
Cheap and centralized. Had good wi-fi, hot showers, and a refrigerator. View from roof was amazing!!!!
Refugees everywhere, not the hotels fault, EUs fault. Of course I did not expect a -- euro hotel be in a good location. Of course it will be much cheaper to eat, buy souvenirs, and food in the area.
Some reviews here make the place sound catastrophic. This was far from the truth for me - I took a leap of faith and it was worth it. The room was clean, no bed bugs or sheet stains, with the necessary amenities, and the neighborhood is a bit dodgy but I am a solo traveler white female and still I felt safe. The 24h reception was a big plus. As well as the convenient location and the affordable price.
The smell of stale cigarette is true and is everywhere. As an ex smoker I didn't terribly mind but I can see how that can be very upsetting for some people. The interior decorations are a bit tacky but I personally found them on the vintage side. All in all, for a short stay it was perfect. And the receptionist helpful. But if you are on a long / romantic vacation, you can do better than this.
It’s really bad hotel the staff not helpful the rooms dirty soo nasty
The staff was okay.
The room was not soundproof. I could hear everything from the other doors. The bed was uncomfortable. The smoke came to the room from outside. The bathroom was so small. The wifi was also very weak especially when someone else used it also. Possible dead bug spots on the walls all over. The district is full of drug users and homeless people. I felt not really safe. I don't recommend it all.
Great value for price! Not a fancy hotel but very very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The location was practical because we were interested in the Exarcheia area and it was close to the location. For such a cheap price me and my friend were pleased to have a reliable and clean accommodation and everyone in the staff was super nice. We also loved the cat who lives downstairs in the hotel. It was also easy to travel there by bus from the airport. I might come to the same hotel again when I'll be travelling to Athens! There was also a huge balcony, so when it's warm and sunny that will be handy.
Someone was maybe smoking in their hotel room, because we smelled a bit of cigarette smoke. The smell wasn't strong, but maybe if someone in really sensitive to the odour they might want to consider. People travelling with their fancy pants on probably know that they should book something more expensive :)
Quiet room with patio and AC, staff always available , ok walk to subway and national archeological museum not far, nice breakfast lace not too far of a walk
Area outside hotel somewhat sketchy I would not have stayed alone and people (taxi driver/ waiter) recommended we not walk outside at night but we never had a problem (2 women never walked solo)
It really was great value for money. It was clean and confortable with great staff. Whilst the hotel was simple it really did meet all of our needs with 24 hour reception. It is a really great place for the budget traveller who wants to make their money go as far as it can.
It was simple and that was its strength. There was nothing that I did not like. Had we wanted all of the five star hotel facilities we could have booked into a five star hotel and paid a five star price leaving little money for anything else.
would recommend it, central nice and clean
The staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations. The affordable price was the main attraction here.
The accommodations were very small but that was to be expected. Despite being a nom-smoking room the whole building smelled of cigarettes.
Brilliant place for short-term staying ? ?
Unfortunately, this area of Athens was full of drug addict and rubbish, but anyway, near the city centre and facilities.
Close to the centre but not the nicest area of it.
The bedsheet had two cigarette burns and a stain. The air condition was too strong for this room and it was either too cold when on or too hot when off. The massive pillows were dirty and very uncomfortable.
The room was small but nicely decorated. There is everything you need for a short stay. Staff were very welcoming and nice.
Location is awful,Prostitution on the street and people taking ha ey drugs with no respect of other people around them. This made the areas very dirty and definitely not pleasant for a stay
Relatively close to downtown.
Had to pay to park. 8 euros.Area is noisy.
The position is good to the centrum the staff was very friendly.
The area around the hotel was unlike.
No breakfast has been served at this hotel since Covid which is unfortunate. The room is very basic. The shower cubicle is very small, I am 5' 3 and struggled in the space. The room came with a balcony and the air conditioning worked thankfully as it was the height of summer. Some of the staff are friendlier than others but overall, customer service was ok. Location is not ideal, a little further away from the centre say about a 20 minute walk. Not the safest or areas if you are a solo female traveller. I'd give this a 3 out of 5.
Location wasn't ideal. No breakfast and not too many places close by that do serve breakfast.
