    • The hotel rooms were spacious, clean, and had plenty of light. The staff did a great job of cleaning each day. I also liked the delicious breakfasts!
    • Great location. It’s near to Monastiraki square. Good breakfast. Wonderful staff, especially Panos. He is very friendly and helpful. What we asked, he always helped us. I suggest to stay in this hotel.
    • Good location, very clean rooms and friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • Bathroom small and shower very tiny
    • The location at night is scary the neigbhourhood isn t safe and the shower was really reallyyy small you can t move in it as if you were stucksomeone with bigger size can t fit in
    • The surrounding area can look a bit dubious, especially at night. Getting to Monastriaki square and the Psyri restaurants is quite close (5-10 minutes) but involved traversing some very graffiti covered alleys with dilapidated buildings. That’s just what some parts of Athens looks like.

Location was convenient. Reasonable price. 24 hour front desk very helpful. Provided some amenities - toothbrush, disposable slippers.

    Nothing really.

Property and room are nothing like photos. The location seemed dubious and unsafe. On a hot day, there was no AC in the common areas like reception etc. Hallways are dark and dingy. Rooms are very small. Beds are average. There’s hardly any space to put your luggage. Worst are the restrooms and shower. Even with Europe standards these were small. The shower stall was unclean and shower lacked any pressure to wash away. Included breakfast was average. Just some bread (no toaster though), very bad croissants, etc.

It is nice, but a bit old. It has a good location.

It is a bit old and not as clean. The bathroom drain was clogged.

Willl not go there even if offered free … if you want a safe vacation with your family please please don’t stay here

This is regarding our booking in this hotel Athens Odeon. We have add a horrifying experience since we have come to this hotel.1. The neighbourhood is unsafe. This was highlighted by our receptionist. As soon as we checked in the receptionist told that we have to be careful while moving outside as there is regularly chain snatching and burglaries happening in the neighbourhood of the hotel, and also said that the Police station is just 500mtrs away. What kind of a welcome we got.2. The hotel doesn’t even have basic amenities like bellboys to take furbniture, water to drink in the rooms, coffee machine or even tea and coffee bags. The bathrooms are pathetic and the soaps and shampoos are unusable. The rooms have broken furniture, the towels stink of some oil.3. To top it off when we woke up in the morning the room was full of ants, in our clothes, on the bed, on the blankets everywhere. And when housekeeping, receptionist was called they said it is just ants and not to worry and they don’t bite. Even the management didn’t seem to care about the situation. So inspite of points 1&2 we stayed the night , but due to point 3 above we are compelled to leave the room and shift to some other hotel. Which we are in the process of costing us both our money and our precious time. This experience has left us flabbergasted. This hotel should be black listed so an esteemed website like Booking.com doesn’t get roped in and trouble its customersWe are demanding a full refund of this booking and compensation for booking another hotel and also would like to know what steps booking.com has taken to reprimand the hotel. We tried to find contact numbers but couldn’t find any on your website so had to send you this email with proofHope this email will reach the correct people and we will be refunded immediately

Room was clean and the staff were very nice.

Specifically rooms 57 and 58 have a very very small bathroom to take the shower. Around 30 inches by 30 inches also didn't has a place to put the soap. Difficult to take a shower. Breakfast was served at 7:30 so is to late for tourists that have trips to take earlier. We lost three breakfasts.

    The beds are ok.

Worst hotel. Very dirty. There is mold in the shower. There is mold in the refrigerator. There are bedbugs in the room. The towels are not clean. The cabinets we cleaned and they where so dirty that the wet wipes where black from dirt.At breakfast there is dry bread, dry cornflakes and sour milk they put up breakfast in 7:30 but when you come in 9:30 nothing is fresh anymore. The smell in the hotel is musty and unpleasant. A very unpleasant experience and a complete waste of money. No tea/coffemaker in the room. Is writen on booking that you can take breakfast to the room but thats not true. There is a waterboiler but its dirty and the filter you can't look through so dirty. You are not allowed to change the temp on airco. They are a 3 star hotel but we give them not more then 1.Does not match what is written on Booking.com.

The staff were very friendly the room was nice and clean and the bed comfyThe breakfast area was nice with enough choice to start the day

The area isn't the best, a first time visitor might get a bit worried, but I've been a few times and there are some nice bars and restraunts close by

Great staff, doing everything possible to make our stay pleasant

The hotel needs urgent renovation, especially the bathrooms, almost impossible to take a shower. The elevator was not working most of the timeBreakfast was very basic, could improve quality over vatiery

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel is well located. Rooms are clean with enough space. Breakfast was good with enough variety.

    Small showers

    7CarlosPosted on: 7-3-2025

The hotel is less than 20 minutes walking to the main turist center near the Acropolis. Greek markets are also nearby.

The room AC never chilled the room because the electricity is turned off everytime you leave the room. There are very empovrished areas nearby and did not feel safe walking at night.

    Location

We let the reception know that we are leaving before breakfast at the check-in, we asked if possible to have something to take with us, however, they were not very considerate, so our breakfast included some dry cookies, and 3 small croissant which was a big disapointment.
