King George, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens

Location and incredible restaurant at the King Geotge. We actually were moved to the sister hotel next door and I'd give that hotel 10 stars

The newly renovated lobby bar played music more accustomed to a dance club or disco and at such high volume that we couldn’t even sit and enjoy a drink there.

The service was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was delicious and it was served on the top of the building with a beautiful view.

My stay at the King George Hotel was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed, seen, and valued. Their warmth and attentiveness set the tone for my entire stay and made this my home away from home.This was my first time in Athens, and choosing the King George was one of the best decisions I made. Waking up each morning to a breathtaking view of the Acropolis was an experience I will treasure forever. There is something magical about opening your curtains and seeing history, culture, and beauty all at once.The combination of exceptional hospitality, comfort, and an unmatched view made this hotel a true highlight of my trip. I will always carry the memory of this stay with me, and I can’t recommend the King George Hotel enough to anyone visiting Athens.

I was on the highest floor, but unfortunately above my room was the breakfast area, and nosey sine 7 am, couldn’t sleep

The facilities need some serious updating, our room was switched / upgraded due to mold in the bathtub of the room we booked

Lovely hotel with a roomy quiet luxurious room. Staff were kind, thoughtful, attentive, and warm. The bathroom was great with high ende Byredo products, comfortable robes, adn thoughtful Christmas touches of traditional greek cookies and an almond aperitivo. A lovely experience!

Sadly I was unable to use the hotel bar because of Christmas Eve but I was able to use the neighboring sister hotel bar. They should make an exception for guests!

The one thing I liked about the property was the location. The staff at the front desk were not friendly or welcoming. I didn’t like the vibe I got being there

A quicker check out!

The staff. My 4 year old daughter fell ill in the middle of the night and the evening staff went out of their way to get medicine to help her feel better. I am very grateful. The location was great. The hotel gave us great dining recommendations.

This is somewhat my fault but it wasn’t entirely clear to me that the property doesn’t have an on premise pool. You are allowed to use the pool at the sister property but it’s the spa pool and is located in the basement. The rooftop pool at the sister property is not available to King George guests. This is disappointing, especially with a child and when it’s scorching hot.
