    Pros +

    • The hotel’s location and cleanliness, the staff, and the breakfast were all very good. From our point of view, the only issue was that—of course, smoking is harmful to health—but there wasn’t even an ashtray in front of the door.
    • The hotel is centrally located. It is convenient to explore Athens on foot from the hotel. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety. The staff members are very helpful.
    • Nice quiet small hotel. Great location. Nice artwork.Eclectic furnishings.

    Cons -

    • Layout is a bit odd. Some areas awkward to move luggage.
    • My wife wasn’t a big fan of the smoked glass bathroom walls, which were directly behind the bed, but we differed on that view, and I thought it was pretty cool. The bathroom felt a little dark, but it was spacious enough that it was okay.
    • We stayed at A1, The room wasn't properly maintained, art work broken, the floor parquet made noise when walking, the bathroom fan didn't do the job and no good air circulation the bathroom kept moisture. No non greek channels on tv the kids couldn't use it. Also the closet had not enough shelves to unpack. In all it's overpriced.

The location was by far the most notable. We had a very short walk to Syntagma Square and the National Garden. We walked to everything that we had on our plans, including the Acropolis. The layout of the hotel was somewhat unique and made the place feel a little special. A central courtyard was a great place to gather for drinks and breakfast. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Everything served was fresh and tasty.

I had a room in the courtyard which was charming, comfortable, and huge. Walked across courtyard to excellent breakfast buffet each morning. Walked out front door to picturesque church across street. Right on the edge of the beautiful park, the Plaka district, and within walking distance of Acropolis. Perfect.

Polite and helpful personnel, very nice location and clean hotel.

Location is very good. Nice design and christmas decorations. They have a nice inner yard but couldn't use because it was cold. Very helpful staff at reception. Breakfast was great. The room was big and had enough space for 4 people.

The hotel and breakfast are beautiful.

The room was very basic and the heating is central for the entire hotel so you can't change it to air conditioning

The beautifully lit dinning area attached to the hotel. The friendly, helpful staff. The beautiful inner courtyard with lights and parakeets singing on the rooftops.

It would have been helpful if the receptionist let us know that if we couldn't make the breakfast, that a takeout bag could be scheduled the night before. There was a sign, but we did not see it until too late, so we missed out on that perk. That I wasn't able to trade out a book for one on their bookshelf.

The hotel is centrally located, close to everything. 5 minutes from the subway station. Charming and friendly staff. Rich and delicious breakfasts. Clean rooms. The Christmas decor is very impressive.

The location is perfect, and every morning's breakfast was excellent. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The first night, we were assigned to a room on the first floor, which had a door and windows facing a closed space with a "roof" right under the windows. I heard a very loud sound from that "roof" in the night. I felt unsafe, so I requested to change to a higher floor the next morning. After changing to a room on a higher level, everything was fine. Overall, we appreciate the friendly staff and the very nice room.

Location is excellent! The common areas are very beautiful and well composed. The staff were warm and friendly.

Cleanliness is wanting. The shower was mouldy, the floor was dusty. Only the towels and sheets were clean in the room. Otherwise, standards were very low.

The location is excellent, near Syntagma Square, national gardens and Plaka. Very convenient to go places...Breakfast is also excellent with many varieties of food...Staff is friendly and helpful...

Our room size is a bit small but ok. However, there is very little space for things such as hanging up towels, a dresser or some place to put away things, or more than 1 chair! (the front desk staff was kind to bring us another chair so that two of us have a seat!). Much improvement can be done to make the room space more comfortable and meet our needs...

Location is perfect. Just off the busy area so a bit more laid back. Convenient and perfectly modern.

    9menachemPosted on: 11-11-2025

The location was great, just a short walk from Syntagma. The property is beautiful, a relatively small boutique hotel. The staff were really helpful when needed. Breakfast looked modest, but actually had everything we needed, and was great. The hotel made a nice gesture to some of the guests, and even though breakfast usually opens at 0730, they opened it at 0500 at the day of the Marathon, as some guests participated. Clean hotel. Very comfortable beds.

In order to get to the room we had to through the garden, then down stairs to the elevator. In the floor, also a few steps down and a few up. A bit strange, but that’s how it is, as the hotel is an old renovated building. The breakfast hall is narrow and located in the passage from the front desk to the rooms, so during breakfast many people pass through dragging their belongings. Breakfast starts at 0730, which is a bit late.

Great location near Syntagma Square if you travel in by the metro. Only a 3-block walk from the station. It is walking distance to the Plaka, Monastiraki and the Acropolis. The hotel has been updated and has modern rooms and bathrooms. We stayed in a room with an inner courtyard location and had very little street noise. The breakfast was very good. The value is great when you factor in the location and the quality of the rooms.

All was good, I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

    10ChristopherPosted on: 11-4-2025

The location was perfect. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and accommodated a very early check in. The breakfast was excellent. Great value for money.

Other than the 16 hour trip to get there from New Jersey, there was nothing negative.

    10CharlesPosted on: 10-31-2025

The staff upgraded us as soon as we walked in - we were psyched! The breakfast was the best of the three places we have stayed in Athens. The location is at the center of everything - extremely walkable.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great and the location was excellent, we could walk to everything.

Centrally located and quiet! Helpful staff!

Very minor but it would be nice to have window screens to keep out the few mosquitoes…
