friendly clerk, cleanliness, tea kettle, maybe owner called me and tried to make things right. Gave me a late check-out to try to help me take a shower and get ready to leave.I don’t think the rooms have heat. Stayed on Jan. 1st. A/C unit has a remote control in English, but I don’t think the manufacturer’s first language is English and there are no simple buttons like temperature arrows or heat or cold.Messaged customer service in the middle of the night about it. Got no response.Small plaque with room instructions. Print is tiny. Nothing about how to use the wall mounted climate unit is mentioned on the plaque.Hot water takes about 3 minutes to heat up, so turn it on and then leave the bathroom. Be prepared to waste water.I slept in my long underwear, coat and hood. About 7 degrees Celsius.TV has about 5 channels, just what you get with an antenna. Only one is in English, BBC news, which is boring.Clerk left at about 7PM, didn’t tell me he was leaving. If you try to message him, you feel like you are bothering him or wasting his time. Takes the concept of self-service to a whole new level. Clerk doesn’t return until noon.Smelled smoke from another room, needed to open window, making it just a little colder.
Would have been convenient to have a shared microwave, in the lobby. Clerk shared with me that I could get one if I rented a more elaborate room. Seemed like they cared more about profit than the guest experience.Check-out is self-service, which they don’t prepare you for in their numerous instructional emails or any plaques in the room. Someone called me, from their company to help me with my room issues. He kept interrupting me, then assured me he could hear me. One of those polite people who makes you feel like you are being rude. It’s morning now. Water gets warm in shower, not hot. Air still too cold to take a shower. I woke up with a headache. The hot water on my back gets rid of headaches, but isn’t an option. Maybe, I will need to take a pill. Tried to break the possibility of leaving a bad review to the clerk. He didn’t take it well. He let me know that doing so would hurt his feelings.Cleaning lady stopped by, after repeated interactions that felt I was getting nowhere with the clerk over the phone. Cleaning lady tried to get the A//C unit to emit hot air, with instructions in front of her. She failed. She apologized and left in disgrace.
The room is pretty spacious and cozy! The hotel's location is good and staff are kind.
The room faces the street and it can be pretty noisy at night. Be mindful of that or bring earplugs if you're a quiet sleeper.
Clean room and good stuff behavior
It is far from city center
Great location, friendly stuff, very helpful and motivated to explain the city.
The room itself was a highlight: spacious, incredibly comfortable, and impeccably clean.Host was really kind and helpful, Their hospitality was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to ensure a smooth visit. Being able to secure an early check-in was a huge help
Nice neighborhood, quiet, very clean, simply but beautifully decorated.
The fridge was unplugged when I arrived. I didn’t need it, but if I had wanted to store something it wouldn’t have reached the right temperature in time. Also, there was no hot water late at night, although the issue was solved the next morning.
Great location close metro station, very warm welcome, only two stops to center, lot of caffes close, big rooms, comfy bads, good view from one of the room to Pantheon but it was noisy over the street with lot of traffic, but second room with no view was quit for better sleeping at night, parking closed under the hotels with additional payment
No breakfast possibilities
Shower took ages to heat up on day 2 day 1 I wasn't able to get any hot water
Easy check-in. We arrived at 2:00 am and we had everything we needed to enter the room. The parking for 15€ was also comfortable.
They even helped me get an electric scooter to get to Syntagma as the taxis were on strike
all good
To room is well equipped and clean. The check in process was smooth.
We paid extra 15 euros for parking, and yet the parking space was extremely limited and very hard to maneuver. On top of that, when we were in a rush to leave for the airport, the exit was blocked. We had to call the emergency number and someone came to take care of it, but the whole thing was frustrating and stressful.
The cleanliness, convenience, and space.
All was positive, have nothing negative to report about this location.
Good sized room and friendly staff. Very clean and well managed. About15-20 minutes away from tourist attractions so neighborhood is quiet.
AC was slow to work while we were there during heatwave, wouldn't be an issue normally I imagine.
We loved the location for a look at different part of Athens for a one night extended stay. It was near Saint Giorgio’s square that has cute cafes, restaurants, and gelato. Also near Fokionos Negri street which is an iconic street for gathering and just hanging by out at sidewalk cafes. Figleaf is an adorable boutique hotel and the suite was comfortable. Appreciate the bottled water and coffee in the room. The price was great on a last minute booking! Communication was great and very responsive. Loved the vibe in the library with music and vibrant colors! We were super grateful for the luggage storage closet they had available when we arrived hours before check in so we did not have to traipse it with us. Host offered great restaurant suggestions as well
Clean. Good communication. Easy access. Large room. Kitchenette.
No inner door locks. Electronic locks are flimsy. Not very secure. Elevator was stuck in the morning.
The bedroom was excellent. Big and clean. Location was really good, close to restaurants small supermarkets and close to transportation. Very easy to go around. The customer service at the hotel was also excellent.
I liked everything.
The rooms are spacious, clean and functional. The staff were friendly with tips to beaches, restaurants and were quick to respond to requests. The mini market adjacent to the hotel came in handy for quick bites/snacks.
