Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel

Modern clean look; room was well maintained

Very difficult to unload and load because there is no place to park your car even for 5 minutes

Did not have the opportunity to eat at this hotel due to early departure times for our excursions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and they provided ear plugs for outside noise. We did not need to use the earplugs as we found our room quiet enough. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cool. I would stay here again. Front desk personnel gave us a short list of restaurants to try in the local area while we were out sight seeing.

This property is just on the edge of a sketchy part of town. It is about a block outside of the area. However, its location is very good for access to the Acropolis and the Parliament building and the Plaka district. We did not feel at risk at any time but depending on the direction you take while walking through town at night, you might be a little uncomfortable.

Staff was very friendly. The front desk staff called a cab for me and gave me a toothbrush as my luggage was delayed. Offered to help me if needed. Staff for their breakfast was great setting up a table for five and bringing us our coffee drinks. The rooftop bar was wonderful.

No complaints regarding the Luwian.

Breakfast was great, maids service was very friendly.

I booked a two twin bedroom and received one bed room. They made the switch. Both rooms were handicapped accessible which I didn’t know I have booked. I asked to change rooms because the shower was flooding the whole bathroom and they were booked and couldn’t make the switch.The restaurant in the hotel had a very small menu.

The Cleanliness was impeccable, the staff was very helpful, the room was super comfortable.

Pity they don't have a gym...

Very good room, modern, clean, comfortable friendly staff, very good in house restaurant on rooftop, very good location with metro connection and many restaurants in 15-20min walk radius, umbrellas available for free when it rains

Noise from street is blocked quite well, however the noise from hallway is not. There may be something that can be done to isolate better.

Breakfast is very good and complete in the 8th floor, the room I stayed was excellent, liked all about the hotel. Location is very good, rooms are very quiet due to double glazing, and from the roof the view of the Parthenon is excellent.

I would recommend to have some curtains in the breakfast room as the sun hits the room early and it blinds a bit when you sit for breakfast, that is the only thing I found missing in the hotel.

Hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Although the location is not very recommended we did not face any negative issue.

The room was too hot or too cold you cannot control it. The air conditioner has no level to control. One day the room was too hot and one day it was freezing.

I appreciated this hotel. I was relunctant because of the things I’ve heard about this particular neighborhood in Greece, but I felt very safe. It was a 15 minute walk from the center of the city. The staff were very sweet and kind. The front desk folks were efficient and were able to check me in early and the server/bartender on the rooftop was amazing! Next time I come back I will book a longer stay here.

Air conditioner made a disturbing sounds which you cant sleep with.Heavy noise coming from the street ehich is typical for athens city center.

It is a great spot in the center of the city. We always stay at Luwian if we want to reach the port or the airport easily. Staff is friendly, the hotel is very clean and they have a lovely rooftop bar with views of the acropolis.

If you travel with more than two suitcases I would recommend booking a slightly bigger room than their standard rooms as space could be an issue, but for two travelers with one suitcase it was perfect.

Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Really good breakfast upstairs, every day. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great shower, modern plumbing, ample hot water.

Location is great in terms of quick access to metro, squares and historical sites. Neighborhood is safe but more restaurants and night life are a stop or two away.

Amazing location with great design and spacious rooms. The bathroom is extremely comfortable, convenient, clean, and tidy. There’s a lovely view overlooking the main street and Omonia Square. Check-in and check-out were fast and hassle-free. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The AC made a strange noise, which can be a bit bothersome at night when trying to sleep.

Great choices, but I thought they did omelettes - fried eggs in a buffet weren’t what I expected, and their toaster was out of service.

Nothing to dislike, even had a scale which was good as we were going out of Athens and could weigh our luggage after a month of traveling!so many amenities , can’t list them all!

Clean and new hotel. Very cool gadgets in the hotel room. Housekeeping staff were amazing and helpful. Front desk receptionist was always ready to help. Breakfast bar was nice: eggs, ham, Canadian bacon, fruits, cereals, bread/muffins, small cakes, juices, coffee. Rooftop restaurant was very nice. It’s on the Main Street and about two blocks from the train station. Room looks exactly like the pictures. Would definitely stay here again.

I reserved a twin double bed room which was unfortunately unavailable. Breakfast started a little late (8:30am until 11:00am). And I didn’t see any info on the airport shuttle anywhere.
