Nice room

The bed is old and it is very noisy in the streets

The decor and vibe of this place was amazing. The music playing in the room, a bottle of bubbles waiting for you, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff was unmatched. I would come back just for the rooftop breakfast. It was also in a prime location and walking distance to anything you would want to do in Athens. I cannot wait to stay again.

The shower/bathtub area was open, no door. It was beautiful but just something to be aware of if traveling with friends.

The esthetics of the room was amazing. The welcome to the room with music was great experience. Excellent alternativ breakfast. Polite staff.

The windows are not well insulated, so there is noise from the busy streets. The curtains at the toilet were not very comfortable.

The artistic setting, the good location, very good breakfast

There was very loud music coming from the base floor of the hotel during sleep time! Apparently the hotel was hosting a concert and the music was very loud until 3am in the morning. I could not go to sleep as the speaker was very loud and the wall was harmonizing with the beat. We have reflected the noise to the staff at 1 am, 2am separately. They promised to turn down the music but they didn’t. On the next day I figured out they have regular concert in their basement until early morning. I’m very disappointed as this is a very high rated hotel but no one has ever told me that there will be noise until 3 am! It largely impacts the experience of the customers who do not want to party!

Had no idea how beautiful the rooms would be. Plus, the rooftop bar was awesome…especially the view of the Acropolis.

I did not like we were there for one night. Would have been great to stay longer. Next time we will!

The property has a very unique design and feel, it truly is one of a kind with lots of artsy elements. The location is very central and the building itself is beautifully renovated with little pockets of space to sit. The staff was super friendly and helpful and something I loved was the music playing in the room upon walking in - the playlist was nicely curated and goes with the mood. The room looked amazing during sunset and makes you feel like in a movie. The bed was very comfy and something I appreciated was the choice of designer items available to purchase inside of the room. This hotel definitely supports the talents of artists and offers a really different experience to what you’re normally used to. The Mona Suite had two toilets which is great. The breakfast was excellent and very abundant.

The windows in Mona’s Suite bathroom are partially exposed as the curtains aren’t so well placed so if you’re taking a shower at night with the light on, chances of someone from the other building seeing you are quite high. There’s a bit of light seeping through the window curtains in the main bedroom so if you’re a late riser, you may be woken up by the morning sunshine. Overall value for money could be a little better but we still loved the place.

The property had an amazing location few steps from the main monastraki square. The room rustic design felt like staying inside a piece of art—every detail told a story, from the handcrafted furniture to the copper pipes in the bathroom.

It would have been better if the toilet area offered a bit more privacy.

The most beautiful and stylish hotel in an amazing central location with incredible service. We stayed here for two nights at the start of our honeymoon and had the best time. We especially liked being able to communicate with the hotel via iPad, which made it so easy to organise room service / ask questions / schedule a suitable time for the room to be cleaned (up until 9pm which is also quite unusual / very helpful!) Breakfast runs until 12, which is great and is so delicious. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Athens.

Amazing design, perfect location, truly a gem. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional, fine-dining quality.

Small room and no door to bathroom/shower, so there isn’t much privacy in that regard.

Gorgeous and charming. Athens! Amazing touches, I could’ve stayed forever. Spacious and in an old factory which was so cool. My room had a romantic loft like feel.

the comfort is sacrificed for design, in particular we didn’t really appreciate the idea of not having the toilet in a separate room (only divided by a curtain from the bedroom) and the fact that during the night there is a lot of light and some noise in the room.

My second time at Mona, it is so stylish and comfortable, I am immediately at ease! Breakfast is great and everything is just wonderful: sights, smells, music. Luxury. Rooms are always bigger than I assume from the photos.

The room and decor was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing . The staff were very helpful and friendly . The cleaning staff kept every area spotless . The location was fantastic for my first visit to Athens . Really close to the metro , restaurants and shops . I would recommend the hotel as amazing , you could sit in the roof top with a fabulous view of the Acropolis.
