Pros +
- Loved the place and its proximity to the heart of kranaou and monastiraki metro. The flea markets were amazing ! The hotel had yumm Greek delights and a refreshing beverage while checking in. We came from santorini and it 2as thoughtful of them to arrange for a welcome that assures you that European hospitality is not all Do it yourself
- Beautiful hotel, loved the interior. We are very pleased that we chose this hotel during our stay. The staff was also very helpful.
- The staff and location were both excellent. Proximity to public transportation was good and ability to walk to most of our destinations was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- The rooms could have better cabinets
- Alot of comments about the carpet, which are true, but it wasn't dirty, just a little used!
- Nothing. If pressed I would say the front door slams!

Beautiful quite rooms, very zen style, wonderful service and in a great location.I would love to visit again
Roof top bar
Rooms were exceptionally small with very dirty wall to wall carpet. Quite gross.
Very pretty and lovely rooftop bar- although it had no food and was only open after 7pm.
Room did not look like the photos. This was disappointing. My room overlooked an empty lot and front desk staff was not friendly.
Location is great ! Close to many spots you would like to go.. you can just go everywhere by walking and also close to monastiraki metro station. People were very kind. Design of the hotel was really nice.
The location was really good, fairly central walking distance to the main attractions
The carpet could be replaced and for the loft room the stairs weren't the greatest, but overall very good!
Book here you won’t regret it!! The location is perfect - close to everything but a blockAway so quieter! The breakfast was 10/10. The rooftop and the views of the Acropolis is spectacular.
Location, food and staff
The carpet in rooms are dingy- worn out
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I chose this hotel because of its rooftop, as there are lots of similar small hotels in the area comparatively priced, but the rooftop was closed the entire time I stayed at the Apollo Palm. The other downstairs bar was also closed one of the days I was there. The carpet in my room was filthy and definitely needs to be replaced.
Comfort double room was good, bathroom a bit small but ok. Location 5 min walk to metro Monastiraki is good. View from the rooftop is fantastic.
Reception is not really 24 hours, staff seems not really prepared to deal with customers, breakfast was super disorganized with food standing directly under the sun… Barnin the rooftop in the evening has a super limites menu (only drinks), making it hard to enjoy the view. Overall it does not correspond to a 4 stars hotel, what is a pity since they have a nice building with a great potential!
Comfort room was pretty good, location 5 minutes from metro station.
Staff is not professional, breakfast is pretty bad (food stands in the sun), reception was closed when we arrived, had to wait almost 10 minutes to get in the hotel.
Location was ok. The roof view was nice.
Our room had carpet that was stained and looked very dirty. On the last day we found a large, bloody bed bug in our luggage. I also got a bed bug bite on my finger (most likely while i was sleeping). I sent the hotel a message detailing the bed bug experience and asked for some sort of refund. Then denied any sort of refund and defended their cleaning protocol. They took no responsibility whatsoever. They offered me a one-night complementary stay at the hotel the next time I traveled to Athens... I live in Los Angeles and I will definitely not be staying at Apollo if/when I go back to Athens. The room did not have a remote for the TV. The shower soap/body wash bottle was broken.
The service and the breakfast were amazing. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. The breakfast is delicious. My room entrance has a pretty nice view to the Acropolis. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The location is closed to an area that looks a little scary but fortunately the staff was helpful in orienting us about the best places to go. Fortunately it’s very safe to walk in Athena so we didn’t have any issues.
Breakfast was good. Limited hot food.Location was a bit shady but liked the closeness to old town and all the restaurantsAfter one day we understood better the location and not as shady as we first thought.Loved the roof top bar.
Rooms could use an upgrade. Not remodeled but a bit of maintaince.Room wasn’t ready until 3:15PM. Sat in lobby and waited. No coffee downstairs for early risers.
This was our 2nd stay here. The room this time was comfy. We had a nice balcony with a view of the Parthenon.
Great location. Great breakfast. Great view of the Parthenon from the roof at night.
Room was very small. It was awkward getting out of the bed which was against a wall with three steps down to floor level.
It was clean and so cute inside! The rooftop is also amazing and has a great view.
The hotel vibes are wonderful, more like an oasis and less like a hotel. I ended up cancelling my other accomodation and moving back here later in my stay because it was far more relaxing. Location is excellent, this was one of my favourite locations in Athens and I think Athens is one of the most important cities to get your location right. Mindful that it seems like it isn't central but actually is very close to some of the nicest parts of the city and walking distance to many things as well. Breakfast was consistently good. A good selection of hot and cold foods in a comfortable and calm environment. If you're an Aussie you might feel that breakfast starts a bit later than normal so just be mindful of that! :)
