The rooftop restaurant had good food and a fabulous view of the Acropolis. The breakfast was extensive and the staff was wonderful. The front desk staff were courteous and very helpful with directions and transportation.

I have stayed at Amalia Hotel many times before. Always a great Hotel at ta great location and proximity to the metro and most tourist attractions with a rich variety breakfast. Room size was comfortable for a one person, and bed was quite comfortable. Even though the prices have gone up, I chose to return back, as the customer care from my previous stays was the main factor of making my decision.

It is important to remind the customer care that just because the hotel is very popular, it does not mean that the level of a traditionally good service, should be lowered or ignored. Hotel was very busy but was also quite loud which made my stay not great since I am a very light sleeper and I had to switch rooms on my two-night visit. Front desk was very helpful and tried to make my stay more comfortable, but this could have been prevented from the very first moment when I experienced that my next-door neighbors were extremely loud and not respectful to the rest of the hotel guests. I did communicate with the hotel in advance of me being a light sleeper and requested a quiet room, if possible, but unfortunately, no one communicated back to me due to the Xmas holiday. Unfortunately, this unpleasant experience caused a lot of frustration on such a short stay on a favorite hotel of mine.

Great location, specious room and lovely view from the balcony

The room felt dusty, and outdated. They did not change the sheets in 4 nights, left a dirty glass and cutlery after cleaning the room and didn’t change the towels, even when they were wet. Just refold them.

The location is perfect, Breakfast was satisfying, The stuff is nice and welcoming.

We loved the breakfast, especially that the waitstaff were so accommodating and able to provide gluten free bread and almond milk for our dietary needs. We liked the balconies, and the receptiveness of the hotel staff overall for questions and assistance!

We didn't like that the hotel restaurant (top floor) did not have food items that met our families' dietary needs. They had basically nothing my vegetarian/vegan son would eat, minimal gluten free options, and very few non-shellfish options for the pescatarian. Especially compared to the breakfast support, this was disappointing.

Excellent location. Great roof top bar. Very helpful and welcoming staff.

The breakfast was good. The lobby was fancy and up to date. The location was very convenient, right next to all the restaurants and the square.

The room was small, which is expected. However, both of the rooms we stayed were very hot, may due to the warm weather and the rooms were on the west side. However, they told us that the A/C does not cool in Winter and there was no way that they would adjust it to the weather. There was not other room avaialbe and we could not move to another hotel as they would charge me one extra day if I cancel. We ended spending four days with the windows open in the evenings while we can hear people talking and the smell of someone smoking on the street or in their rooms.

    The location is good

At evening A party started where three or four of the room beside us started to make noises with open rooms and people singing and complete chaos We complained many times to the reception But that stayed for 3 days.No value for money at all .

The hotel is close to the center of everything. Great location. Nice hotel, nice staff. Quiet place to be. A nice morning breakfast.

The room is a bit small.

    9pazPosted on: 12-14-2025

The room was big and comfortable. The stuff was very helpful and we liked being very close to the national gardens.

The bath was a little too narrow. Our room was facing a busy road. We didn't mind but it could be a problem to people sensitive to noise.

I stayed here before and was very satisfied so decided to come back. Good quality, friendly staff, convenient location, bar with an excellent view too!

The only problem was the recycled paper as it triggered my allergies

Location is perfect however the hotel deals very poorly to control the guests, i couldn’t sleep from the guests next to us having parties for three nights in a row

    No rules and no respect

Perfect location. In the city center, right across from the National Garden. Good view from the balcony. Staff very friendly and professional.

Nothing. I cannot think of anything that needs improvement.
