Pros +
- Location was okay, walkable to Acropolis and Plaka.
- The location
- The room is very nice with plenty of space and an excellent AC unit. Its close to the acropolis and local spots to see in Athens. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
Cons -
- I did not see during booking that there was no hotel staff on site. This is more of and AirBNB style stay than hotel. Code to unlock key was given early, but no pictures in email to show the wooden cabinet the locker was in.
- It could be cleaned in depth. The decoration could be cozier, and with lighter colours, it was too dark. Part of the furniture had scratches etc.

Hotel Tony is a true traditional family owned hotel. They care about the comfort of their guests and are committed to their profession. I will stay there anytime I am in Athens and will send any friends or family to them with confidence.
