Wifi a little slow.

Convenient location, gorgeous interiors, and the best, most helpful front desk staff I've ever met at a hotel. The Monument team did so much to make our visit to Athens fantastic. Extremely good breakfast included, too!

Great location! Close to lots of things! Great breakfast and wonderful staff! The view of the parthenon was great! Really enjoyed the hot tub!

The aesthetic and amenities were all unique and very well done! The location is also great — it's centrally located but not as touristy as other areas of Athens. The staff were friendly and helpful, too!

It was just a little odd to have the shower in the bedroom separate from the rest of the bathroom. That's all I can think of! Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

The public areas are beautiful, we had a superb room, with a simply stunning outdoor terrace backing onto a historic Byzantine church. The staff kindly offered to bring breakfast to our room and we enjoyed it on the terrace.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the hotel! From the warm and welcoming greeting from the staff to the thoughtful recommendations for places to visit and other helpful suggestions, we felt truly cared for. Additionally, the room was incredibly luxurious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, definitely one of the best we've ever slept on!

Very comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated historic building. Exceptionally clean room and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hot selection and individual breakfast plates were good, however not a lot of bread on offer the first couple of days. We didn’t use the wellness area but were shown it when we arrived. The hotel is very walkable to all the main sights of Athens and is close to many bars and restaurants.

I don’t always feel like making small talk with reception staff every time you pass; but can’t fault their friendly attitude. Our room and terrace were lovely although not much space around the bed (there was a seating area though). No-one used the lounge when we were there so there was no atmosphere when we stayed for a drink a couple of times. I would create a proper bar there and do away with the need for someone to open the main door for guests by installing a code or key card entry system. I think part of what you pay for at Monument is its small size, personal service and feeling of exclusivity. However I wouldn’t want to pay as much as we did to stay there again.

The hotel is so beautiful, very chic. It concerns an old house that has been renovated into a lovely boutique hotel. The location is superb, very close to almost everything. The best part of the hotel is the lovely staff. They are so sweet and they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with a special shout out to Maria. She was so sweet in arranging so much for us. I've already recommended this hotel to friends and family!

Our room was slightly small and it would have been nice to have a desk to work but otherwise very nice and clean.

We loved everything about it, from the big specious room, to the great service we received, we had a wonderful stay

The only downside would be no elevator, but other than that it was great

Beautiful boutique hotel, great staff, comfortable bed, excellent shower. Breakfast was also very good. Staff was since and helpful. The location is great as well, very close to many sights and restaurants/bars, be just far enough to be completely quiet at night. Highly recommended!

Beautiful design throughout the hotel. Comfortable, gorgeous rooms with everything you need. Delicious, filling breakfast with loads of options to choose from. Maybe best of all, wonderful, friendly staff, who go out of their way to make your stay exceptional.

Breakfast was lovely and Christina was a highlight of our stay. best cappucino in Greece.

Beautiful and spotless. Easy to walk in central Athens. Modern but classy. Very friendly, made us a quick breakfast to go when we had to leave before it was to be served.

Some might have trouble with stairs. They did deliver the luggage

perfect location to all central markets, restaurant and bars, shopping streets and monuments. The hotel building has been beautifully restored and the description on the hotel website accurately describes reality.

The lack of an elevator is the result of the strict restauration regulations, so there is nothing to complain about, however, bear in mind it takes 50 steep stairs to get to the second floor.

Such an incredible building, helpful staff and a lovely room. My view wasn't great but I was only there a night so not worth mentioning as everything else was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. On arrival, it doesnt look like the most central location but in the light of day, we realized how close we were to everything! Very nice staff! Nice amenities and wellness offerings.

No elevator because its an historic building, but otherwise, a lot to like!
