L'Avventura Athens

it's my 3rd time i a come to Athen and i stay at l'avventura since i like staff hospitality and the location is great

Perfect location. Just one turn from main street. 10min walk to Monastiraki subway station which has direct connection to Airport.Quite room, friendly stuff. Kept our backpacks before check-in and few hours more after check-out. Clean room. SPA is in the same location on ground floor for separate payment. Few perfect tavernas just 2-3min walk.

The property was very close to all the things we wanted to see in Athens! The hotel was sparkling clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved our stay at L’Avventura Athens!

The shower pressure was good: thé sheets smelled nice; the location was great.

The pillows ànd mattress were horrible! Hard and lumpy! We ended up making pillows out of our dirty clothes cuz that was better! The mini fridge was tiny and filled with ‘mini bar’ items that were massively overpriced. There were signs everywhere demarcating fines for bad behaviour. There was a really loud sound akin to an airport toilet being flushed constantly- probably when other units flushed their toilet. We felt like this was a hostile environment for guests. Horrible stay!

The hotel and location were great. The Acropolis and Agora were short walks away, and the surrounding neighborhoods were interesting. You should consider visiting in winter when the crowds are few. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient location with easy access to the city center's landmarks, shopping malls, delicious restaurants, as well as proximity to two metro stations (especially for going to and from Athens International Airport), professional behavior, warm attitude, and friendly cooperation of the staff.

The lack of a number of common and necessary items in the bathroom was noticeable. I expected more from the number of side items in the breakfast buffet that could break it from being monotonous and repetitive.

Bit noisy, we could hear noise from halls and adjoining rooms.

Location was great. Bathrooms was a good size with walk-in shower.

Double room was cramped with one tiny chair in a corner for two people to share. Balcony overlooked alley with noise and smells of fish and cigarettes from bar below. Had to keep sliding door closed. Towels were gray and fraying. Bathrobes both missing ties so couldn’t be used. Internet did not work in room on both phones and laptops,

Slightly annoying that if we have the AC on in the room, it goes off when you open the door to go out onto the balcony

Excellent location, very clean rooms with modern decor. Staff were helpful to address any issues and questions. Breakfast was one of the best of our whole trip and the view of the acropolis was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

The location was great, staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean.

The shower and sink area had no walls or doors, and a semi-transparent glass panel separated the shower from the bedroom. It was strange, and my friend and I had to turn around in the bedroom whenever the other person was taking a shower. Of course, we couldn’t walk past the shower either when the other was there, since there were no doors or walls shielding it from the entrance corridor that led to the bedroom.

Great location! Walking distance to all of the main sites. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, stylish and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and listening to the sounds of Athens! Bonus: the restaurant on the corner down from the hotel entrance was fantastic!

It is centered location. We realize that it is also very near to the metro to airport. On the way back to airport we took Metro.

Good location, clean and cozy with friendly staff. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was quite good!

The elevator was very small and may cause a slight inconvenience for guests with large luggage or low fitness levels as we found it easier to use the stairs.

I loved the design and efficiency of the room, the shower was top, the bed was very comfortable (best hotel bed ever - I slept like a baby), there was a fridge, coffee and tea provided with espresso machine and free water bottles. The buffet and a la carte breakfast is very good and it’s from 7a to 12p which is unheard of. The boutique style hotel is charming and pleasantly quiet. The location is excellent with restaurants and shops galore within walking distance.

It was mostly quiet but with noise in the mornings with staff and people coming in and out of their rooms. You can hear a toilet flushing/water running coming from the upstairs floor and there is some mild sewage smell coming from the room.

This is our fourth visit to this hotel in the past two years.Perfect location, beautifully designed rooms, wonderful staff.

It seems they are no longer able to maintain the standard we once knew.We found long hairs in the bathroom on the floor, walls, and towel rack (we are two men with short hair), the toilet brush was broken and dirty, the towels were old and unpleasant, the shower water was lukewarm at best on many occasions, the floor throughout the room was not clean, and the bedside lamp still flickers despite us reporting it during a previous stay.My parents, as well as my brother and his family, have stayed at the hotel in the past based on my recommendation, but unfortunately, I will stop recommending it and we will no longer stay at the hotel.

Breakfast had very good choices, some being unique.

What I found very annoying was returning to the hotel in the evening and having to wade through many small tables crowded into the access to the hotel with a very narrow corridor between the tables. A person even a bit unsteady on feet or someone quite overweight would find it difficult. Not pleasant to be looking down on plates of half eaten food, etc in such a narrow space. Probably not any solution though!

The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is great, the room was clean; however, it was the size of a postage stamp and in no way did it resemble the pictures on Booking with a view of the Acropolis—not remotely possible given the location.
