NLH MONASTIRAKI - Neighborhood Lifestyle Hotels

This is a very well located hotel, the Monastiraki area is vibrant with shopping and nightlife. We were there for Greek Independence Day and although the street noise was noticeable until about 3 am, we had no trouble sleeping.

Very nice staff. Good breakfast, we even got a 2go box at the morning we departed since we left early. Location is perfect, 4 min from central subway station and in the middle of the city.

We assigned room at the first floor, below it, is a coffee shop and a gambling kiosk, the ac worked only on heat and the room was too hot. When opening the windows we got lot of noise and cooking smell. Stay away from rooms 103 to 105. Rooftop was closed in the winter

Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean with new towels every day. Comfortable beds. Great shower.

Could hear all the noise on the street. Best to ask for a room on the other side.

The staff was very helpful and also assisted us in getting a later check out for a small additional fee. The bed was also one of the more comfortable beds that we have slept in Europe.

Breakfast was included and the rooftop bar with Partheon view is a huge plus. And the room is clean and well decorated.

The room was very basic and poor. The cups for tea and coffee were made of paper and meant for single use only. There was no hairdryer in the room. The toilet was separated from the sleeping area only by a sliding door, with no proper soundproofing or privacy — it was uncomfortably close to the bed, and you could hear everything.Additionally, my room was on the 3rd floor, directly below a rooftop bar on the 4th floor. Although the bar was supposed to close at 12:00 AM, the music often continued past midnight, and we had to go upstairs and ask them to turn it down — usually without success.Overall, this did not feel like a 4-star hotel at all

Highly recommend this hotel. New, stylish hotel in an excellent location. Walk out the front door and you are a 5 minute walk to the Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Library and the main Monistraki metro hub which connects to the airport. If you go out the back door you are in the trendy Pssyri neighborhood with nightlife, bars and restaurants. Stunning view of the Acropolis from the roof top bar.Very well designed hotel. Huge breakfast buffet, and Roman, the staffer so nice.

Nothing. I was very happy with everything.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of everything and right down the street from Monistraki Square which we loved. Rooms were great size and comfy.

The front door access was annoying at best and the rooftop bar is not promoted nearly enough - we went up there at night and great people, awesome view and fantastic drinks, but not being promoted.
