Nefeli Hotel

The location is perfect, in the heart of Plaka near all the top tourist sites, shopping and restaurants. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. Rooms are not large but quiet and clean with comfortable beds. We will stay there again.

The shower is small, but everything works.

Price and location

Noise from streets was almost cancelled by shutting the good sound-insulating window, but the doors let interior noise in. The slamming of other doors was annoying. Also there isn't much room in the rooms...

Location was amazing, so close to so many top spots. Plaka neighborhood is lovely. Staff very helpful.

The area looked like a ghetto. We got stuck in the elevator. The room smelled moldy. Strict guidelines using the air conditioner. You had to turn in Keyes every time you left.

The hotel is a bit old and the shower was old too, you know it's clean, but still doesn't feel comfortable taking a shower there for example.

Shower was very small and had a shower curtain.

The staff were exceptional. We thought, contrary to some reviews that the breakfast was perfectly adequate. The staff responded generously to our request to substitute the meat with vegetation choices. The coffee was great and bottomless. Thanks:)

Location was good

The rooms are old and not very maintained, bad sheets were not clean and the reception did not replace saying there are no extra. Staff was not very nice :(

The location was perfect but hotel is run down and doesn’t look like the pictures on booking.com. The room was tiny and the shower was almost unusable it was so small. The towels were paper. The staff was friendly. I would not stay there again.

Update the property

Center of the Plaka and close to historic sites, restaurants and shopping. Great choice.

The bed was really comfy and a great size - we had a great sleep! The hotel is basic but comfortable and in a good location in Athens. Everything we needed was in the room. The actual neighbourhood immediately around the hotel was a bit grim but just a short walk and we were in the busy streets of Plaka with plenty of restaurants, shops and activity. Also really close to the Acropolis.

To be honest, the breakfast wasn't great but we were glad to have it.

The location, cleanliness, and staff make this a return visit.

Not complaining because this is a budget hotel but knowing that it has no luxuries this is a place to get a good night's sleep to enjoy the city in at a spectacular location

Except the location nothing Bed hotel over, everything is very old not comfortable very small and not well maintained
