Acropolis Vision

The location is priceless. A walking distance from the subway, restaurants, and main archeological sites and museums. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good, on the rooftop with views to the Acropolis. Even in the stormiest days in winter it was nice sitting there (with stoves). Though it's on a street with many people, it was very quiet.

The beds were too soft for me, but thats a personal preference.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Ancient Agora entrance and Thisseio metro station. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, and I really enjoyed my NYE countdown on the rooftop, the view of the Acropolis from there is absolutely stunning. My room was very spacious and came with a private terrace, which I truly appreciated. The place has a lovely boutique hotel vibe. Highly recommended!

Location is amazing with stunning views of the Acropolis. 10-15 minute walk to the Acropolis; steps away from the ancient Agora. Steps away from restaurants and park with adjacent pedestrian only walkway. 5 minutes walk from Metro. Staff is terrific. Good breakfast on the outdoor rooftop patio with beautiful sunrise views of the Acropolis--though it could be quite breezy and cool (winter time). Room was clean and comfortable, nice view from the balcony. This is an urban location-- street parking is very tight and access by car is difficult if you don't know how to get there. Walk or use public transport/taxi.

Amazing location. Proximity is nearby restaurants and venues. You can walk from this location to Acropolis, Agora, bus areas for hop on and hop off, Plata, shopping areas, etc. The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Communication from booking to arrival was outstanding. They made my trip safe and memorable.

I did go during winter so price was a little bit high. But apart from that, highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, very close to restaurants, Acropolis and other ancient monuments. Everything was perfect, the staff was very friendly. We spent the New Years eve on the rooftop. The owner prepared a new year's cake and offered free drinks. It was a perfect way to start 2026.

The facilities in the bathroom are not bad, however they can be improved.

Location, Location and location. It is right in the middle of Plaka. Everything that you want to see and do is within 15-20 minutes walk. You can see acropolis from the rooftop. You can’t have a better location than Acropolis vision boutique hotel. There are probably 50 restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Place is quite and you won’t hear a thing in the room.George and his staff: What a fantastic team George (Owner) has. Every one of them is happy to help you in all possible ways. Our flight was at 11:00 am and George told his staff members to help me pack my breakfast before we checked out. Staff served the breakfast and packed some food so that we will have enough food for our flight. He takes personal interest in each and every guest that comes to his hotel. Such a pleasant and warm person George is. His entire team is very pleasant, helpful, warm and very kind to all the guests.Breakfast: Awesome breakfast every single morning. Freshly squeezed orange juice, hot boiling coffee and pastries were pretty good.

The location is just perfect. The view from rooftop where you cab go anytime and where breakfast is served - brilliant. Very romantic place for a couple getaway and all the beautiful places are in a few minute walking distance.

A small hotel well situated along the walkway leading to the Acropolis and Athens’ centre. Easy walk to many great restaurants, Plaka. Hotel was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Room was not spacious but comfortable and functional in every respect.

We absolutely loved our stay at Acropolis Vision! It’s such a charming boutique hotel with amazing views of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was delicious — you pick what you want the day before, and everything is so fresh and nicely presented. The whole place is spotless, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly or attentive. They really make you feel at home. We’d definitely stay here again next time we are in Athens!

I recently stayed at Acropolis Vision in Athens and found it to be a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. What really sets this place apart is the unbeatable location—steps away from major sights like the Acropolis and lively neighborhoods full of cafes and shops. For the price, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal in the heart of Athens.

The room was modest, but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. While the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, it was manageable.

Highly recommend

Our room was well appointed with a door separating the bedroom and bathroom, as well as a small fridge with a coffee and tea station with a kettle. The view of the Parthenon from the 3rd level bar restaurant is incredible especially at night. We had dinner there which was reasonable and the food was very good even though its prepared off property ie at a restaurant next door. Beware though I thought breakfast was included but it was not and its 15 Euro per person for a sad continental breakfast- the only negative of our stay. Location is also right next to the Apostle Paul pedestrian walkway which is a wonderful way to walk and see the main sections of Athens
