    Pros +

    • Easy access to the Train Station.
    • Hotel is located cross the train station and metro station. Very convenient for us to take train to meteora. And take metro to airport. The stuff is very nice to let us store our luggage one day before our check- in. Breakfast is good.
    • Friendly, helpful staff. Good price.

    Cons -

    • The mattresses were the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel. Thin, no support, and overall just completely uncomfortable.
    • A little bit noisy due to close to main road.
    • Somewhat misleading to be rated at 3 stars. Compared to a USA hotel it is 2 stars at best. It would be the equivalent to a motel 6. It is not in the greatest part of the city.

The people is very helpful and friendly, especial hotel employee showed his kindness to gave us hot water for instant noodles! thanks!

The area is very dark and a little terrifying. The room is a little small.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful.

The neighborhood wasn't one I would like to walk around at night.

Great Price near both the local metro station and the regional trains. Short subway ride to all the attractions.

Overall, a great value-for-money stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located. The metro is only a short walk away, making it easy to reach Athens’ main attractions. For those traveling by train, having a station directly in front of the hotel is extremely convenient.

The only downside is that there is no proper heating; the room relies on air conditioning for warmth, which can be a bit uncomfortable in winter.

The breakfast was OK, but there was no fresh coffee.

The apartment was not well kept. The bed was so hard we couldn't sleep all night. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. The toilet top lid was broken. The toilet was clogged. There were no wireless TV and TV programs all in Greek. The bathtub was very small. The elevator was also small. The manager of the hotel was rude and told us that if you don't like the apartment, you can go somewhere else.

Clean, tidy, warm. Rooftop restaurant was nice!Direct train from airport stops a few hundred meters from hotel!

Beds were a bit hard. Location offered nothing to do in the evening. But just a short ride to Akropolis area.

Clean, roomy, shower doesn’t get the floor all wet.

    Beds not super comfy.

The staff Fondmas was great and gave me tips on catching the public transport and where to go. I was able to change my stay to a day earlier!

We stayed here for one night only, arrived very late at night and had to depart very early in the morning. Conveniently located near the Athens Central Station (former Larissa Station which caused us and other tourist confusions). The room was very small but it was acceptable for the few hours we needed it.The highlight was the staff, particularly Matina who was extremely nice and helpful - we loved how accommodating she was. They also offer luggage storage at a cost.

Location and the rooftop restaurant. Very good breakfast.

    Tricky bath/shower base.

    We didn’t have breakfast

Still construction drywall in the room. There was nothing to prepare food with in the kitchen. No kettle for boiling water

The location is great- no matter if you want to go sightseeing or take a metro and spend whole day on the beach. The station is three minutes from the hotel. Another plus is the staff. Everyone was really nice, friendly and helpful. The room was always clean and the breakfast was delicious. We were greeted with a smile and free drinks. Definitely recommend and consider staying there next time we’re visiting Athens.

The only small thing I can think of are the beds. Mattresses could be replaced but I didn’t have any back problems so they definitely sufficed.

I had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient.Excellent location, just a short walk to the metro station and airport train.

    The nice top floor restaurant.

Weirdest wifi: when far from the door, web pages never load despite the icon of good wifi signal. You have to get close to the door to have a fast loading pages :/

It was the perfect location to catch our tour bus to Meteora (by the train station). The room was clean & comfortable for a night. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was delicious and a decent breakfast was available. Kind, helpful staff.

    10TheresaPosted on: 9-18-2025

It was extremely close to the meeting point for our tour early the next morning. Additionally, we decided to have dinner at the rooftop hotel restaurant - very good food and VERY reasonably priced.

The selling point of this property, and the only reason we stayed there, is that it is very near the Larissa Station which was the location of our early morning bus pickup for a group tour of Meteora. So we stayed one night and the location for the tour pickup was a about a minute by foot along a busy street. Our room looked nice and was very clean. The exterior main hotel entrance door is locked 24/7 which is absolutely necessary. Your room key card also opens the exterior property door lock.

The beds were incredibly hard with absolutely no give - like sleeping on a wood plank. They were the hardest I have ever encountered in a hotel anywhere. But the biggest issue with this hotel is the location in a very sketchy neighborhood with no stores or restaurants nearby. The taxi driver who dropped us off repeatedly warned us not to venture far in this neighborhood due to drug users and crime. We felt very uneasy while walking through the area in the broad daylight to the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, but we walked there and back with no incident . The seedy location is why the main entrance door of the hotel is locked 24/7. Also, we paid in advance for this room while booking, but nevertheless received at least 3 scammy messages over the months thereafter supposedly from the property saying there was a problem with our credit card and wanting new credit card details. I contacted the property and they responded slowly but finally said there was no problem and to ignore the messages, so this was some scam issue either with the hotel itself or with Booking.com.
