Smart Hotel Budapest

Hotel is owned by a winery. Was able to try some wines that wer e delicious from some unique grape varietals that was not familar with. Breakfast was included. It was very good with a variety of items.

The breakfast is great and it's centraly located with access to metro and buses.

Staff at reception was not too bad.

I was put in an underground room with no windows and water infiltration. The whole floor was moist and rampant with mold. Furthermore there was no proper ventilation because the air conditioning was centralized and not pumping more air for the condition of the room. I believe a health and safety inspection of such room would remove the license of the hotel. I left the room after 3 hours and I have had to cough for over 3 hours to clean the mold from my lungs This is an illegal situation.

The staffs are very accomodating and helpful and the location of the hotel is very accessible. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a metro station about 3-5mins walking distance. There many grocery stores close by even a pharmacy right next to it.About the amenities/activities of the hotel, sad to say we had no time to try them since we're mostly touring around the city during our stay. So I couldn't give any comments on that. Though the hotel is very nice and pleasant and clean, Modern design and it's also accessible for people on wheelchairs. They have a small elevator next to the stairs at the front office area plus the normal elevator going to floors and to the breakfast area.

The rooms are very spacious (for the double bedroom apartment). The beds were confortable. We had a nice breakfast with a variety of tasty food. The private parking option at about 4 minutes walk was ok for us.

The access way to our apartment from 3rd floor was in an old building which had large smelly garbage bins at the entrance (ground floor). The elevator was pretty old.

Terrible. Will not choose this hotel when I come to Budapest again

Terrible experience! I booked one night online and wanted to extend another night at check-in, but was told no rooms were available and was offered an apartment nearby instead. First night’s room was right next to reception, no soundproofing, very noisy all night. For the second night in the apartment, found the elevator was broken and I had to carry heavy luggage up to the 7th floor by myself. Reception only said they had already informed me instead of helping, and no room change was possible. They had my money already, and no solution was offered. The whole situation was ridiculous. Definitely the worst stay I’ve ever had. How is this even a 4-star hotel?

Such a great value. The location, wellness area, bar prices, and the room. Located a short walk away from the City Park, it's a great area to stay. The Sauna and shower were great - the Harvia heater heats up fast, and hot. Cheap public-parking nearby. Breakfast is pretty standard. The beans were excellent though.

Your mileage may, but staying on the first floor (where reception is) - it can be a bit noisy. You can hear everything through the door, and I only assume they can also hear everything you're doing inside. Other than that, no complaints.

The location is really good many interesting things are at a 15 min walk( zoo, central park, goszdu udvar, etc) . In front of the hotel is a kids park and a lidl super close by.

​There are 3 main things that i didnt like. Firstly, the apartments are located in a separate residential building, which detracts from the hotel atmosphere. Secondly, the lack of private parking and the need to pay €10 per day for a spot on a nearby street is a significant disadvantage. Finally, the undersized breakfast area creates discomfort and crowding in the morning.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for one night during our visit to Budapest, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us in choosing a great restaurant nearby, which made our evening even more enjoyable. As a lovely gesture, they even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine upon check-in.The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with excellent facilities. The room was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The attention to detail throughout the property creates a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Budapest, we highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay at Smart Hotel Budapest! The hotel is clean, modern, and cozy. The room was comfortable and everything worked perfectly — we especially appreciated the smart technology for controlling the lighting and temperature.The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist. The location is excellent — everything is nearby and convenient.We’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel. Friendly staff, the breakfasts have various options to select. Great playground next to the hotel. My daughter and me are satisfied completely.

Location is not great. Not in a short walking distance from the main attractions.Breakfast did not include many types of food, plus the dining room was very small, and sometimes there was no place for everybody.The bed and pillows were not comfortable for us.
