The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The room was well.appointed and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal in terms of safety and walkability. I will absolutely be coming back to stay here again.

The lofted area on the second floor did not get adequate cool air so it would get quite warm over night.

The hotel was wonderful, the location was perfect and the design was impeccable but the best thing was the staff! They were the kindest and they helped us so much. We unfortunately had a medical emergency and the staff were so helpful, nice and caring- they really made such a bad situation better. there's no doubt we would return to stories and recommend everyone to stay there, we enjoyed and loved our stay and the staff was really next level. thanks again to Peter, Nassima, Anita and the entire staff for their kindness.

The staff were very kind and pleasant.Comfortable bed.The location is good enough to reach almost anywhere.

It was not that clean.The stairs in the room were not safe, and not comfortable.Not recommended for families with children.Bad smell from the toilet.The toilet and the shower were far from the bed and the wardrobe.Lots of alcohol in the room, you should probably ask your guests if they would like to have those in the room or not before arrival.

Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - very close to all major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. We also loved the complimentary mulled wine, which was delicious and a lovely touch.

Stories entrance wasn't easy to find - it's in an alcove off the street - typical of 19th-early 20th century residential architecture - with multi-unit dwellings built around carriage capable courtyards. Storie rooms surround the courtyard which is now an excellent restaurant "26" (for the address on Karoly Utka) associated with the hotel (you can book breakfast through the hotel).I can't say enough good about the staff - we interacted with 1/2 dozen during our short stay and they were all helpful, friendly, relaxed and accomodating.If you're going to Budapest and don't need a big chain hotel with gym and pool - this is your place to stay

There was an issue with the cleanliness of my room that the staff did their best to address on the fly and were able to move me to a new room after a few days. They were kind enough to sort out the issue at check out.

The climate control in the room was terrible, very hot and you couldn’t control it. The staff gave me a portable AC unit, but that didn’t help at all.

staff was beyond helpful, they've helped us with every request or question, the location of the hotel is really good, very easy to see the area just by walking around also close to the metro so you good to go every where you want. room was a little disappointing, there was a smell of the sewerage most of the time but the staff at the hotel try to help all our stay. the breakfast was OK

deluxe room is not so comfy because of the second floor, the acoustics in the room not good at all, you can hear every step from outside the room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. very close to the shopping area and tons of restaurants around. Room is large enough and comfortable. . The staff is friendly and so is the atmosphere. You can have as much coffee and candies at the reception room all day long. The whole atmosphere is nice and cozy. I was offered a FREE late checkout by the staff because my flight was delayed two hours. I really appreciated this gesture. Thank you guys.

The bathroom is big and spacious however my bathroom was smelly especially in the evening and i believe this is due to faulty drainage work in the shower where the bad smell comes out of the drain at night. not the best smell to have. The breakfast , and to be honest, i have had way better ones in terms of quantity, but their breakfast is (the one you purchase with the stay) very basic. You could however opt out and order ala carte which they have a large selection and an excellent variety. Walls between the rooms are not as sound proof as should be!! You can hear your neighbors through the walls at times :-)

Located in the heart of the Jewish quarter, this hotel is really unique in its design and atmosphere.The restaurant, though not an integrated part of the hotel, is really an amazing space and serves great food and cocktails.The staff was super friendly, also to our kids.Highly recommended!

While the hotel itself is beautiful, our experience was unfortunately affected by significant problems. On the first night, we were moved to another room due to loud mechanical noise. The replacement room, however, had a very strong and unbearable odor coming from the bathroom, to the point that it was difficult to use the facilities or stay in the room comfortably. The smell affected the entire room.We informed the staff immediately, but the manager was on leave. We were offered a small compensation, but were told that it was not possible to move us again. This had a real impact on our stay and overall experience.The odor was so strong that, in our opinion, the room should not be used for guests until the issue is fully resolved. Additionally, the manager did not contact us during the two days of our stay, and all communication was handled only through the front desk representative.We would appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter.Thank you.
