    Cons -

    • I travel every month in Budapest i booked beds in all hostels of Budapest Months ago (before the summer season) i stayed in this hostel 3 times , I always gave 8, I liked it and I rate it as a good one. After some months i booked again knowing the hostel, where I found a hostel with dirty walls and with spider webs. But anyway I am not a sensitive person. But what was my real problem: When i entered in the room i felt a bad smell so as nobody was in the room i opened the window . In one hour the room was fresh but very cold. As is November. I was like: "Ok let's turn on the AC for some heat" but the AC that was set at max 22 degree and always worked only 5 min then automatically stopped (this is how it was set by the central commands). We told to the guy from reception he changed to 24 degrees but in 5 minutes no big changes happened in the room (it was midnight and I always power on again and again the AC after every 5 min). After we gave up and everyone in the room slept with jeans and a sweater on under the pillow, because our room was very cold. (in the rest of the hostel you could walk around in a t-shirt). For me: from a good hostel ...you guys turned in a bad hostel. I see that you started to do some works at first floor for have more spaces and make more money... but how about investing some money in cleaning and to not be so stingy.
    • Too many rooms and guests
    • It smelled interesting. Wasn't bad at all but it was just really present. A strong vanilla?

Perfect place, great location with amazing shared areas :)

Room was little smelly, but it was a marathon weekend and we were 3 runners in the room so someone left a sweaty clothes there ? Just a bad luck, I would still recommend this place :)

“For the price you pay, it’s a very good hotel.” Location is perfect.

Sound isolation is very poorly. The only thing i didn't like.

Facility is tip top. Bed is big. Sufficient space in common area to rest and eat.

NOT recommended for a shallow sleeper like me. Sadly, the door is not soundproof, many does not respect the 'Quiet after 10pm' rule which is clearly stated by the hostel and showed at the common area. Many still talking loud with each other even after 11.30pm. Some even playing loud video from their phone. Even though I have politely asked them to be quiet, I can recognize the same group of people still repeats the loud talking on the next day. However, I do understand that sometimes people are very selfish and arrogant, it is not the hostel's fault, so I won't blame the hostel for that.

Centrally located, good beds, room with good temperature to sleep (on the cold side, but I like to sleep in a cold room)

Sparsely furnished, missed bed tables and some more places to put toiletries

    9ZhaoPosted on: 10-20-2025

they have bed curtain and bed lamp. shared kitchen with cutlery and microwave. a 5min walk to an airport bus terminal.

not enough tables for everyone in the common space during evenings

    9Rupesh K.Posted on: 10-16-2025

The location was perfect, staffs were friendly, and the kitchen have lots of free spaces.

Bed has lesser width than expected. Room was small so that there was problem with ventilation and hence quite smelly. However, with the price offered I recommend you can ignore these comments.

We booked a private room with a shower and toilet. The shower was very good—hot, good pressure, drained well, no leaking. The bathroom was small but usable. The location of Flow Spaces was outstanding, the price point excellent, and staff were kind. We appreciated being steps from the market, 10 minutes from Kalvin Ter metro, and 20 minutes from the Jewish Quarter; grocery stores and restaurants were also close by. Bright and open common spaces seemed inviting, but we very much valued the privacy of our private room (which included 2 towels, a hand towel, a foot mat, shampoo, 2 pillows, and 2 duvets on a queen bed). An elevator is available if you have lots of luggage. The high ceilings make the rooms feel quite large and spacious. For a few nights of sleep in between exploring Budapest, this place did the trick.

The window shade wasn’t long enough for the window, leaving over a foot of exposed window at the base on level with the bed. Temperature cannot be controlled independently in the private room; you text staff to change the temp. The floor in the room and the platform around the bed were broom swept, but evidence of previous guests was noticeable, and when we wiped water off the floor the cloth came up gray. Sometimes guests in the hall are noisy between the hours of 11pm and 7am and you can hear the guests in the rooms around you quite clearly.

Great private bed spaces with under bed lockers. Towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. The common space looked nice, too! There were always people out there.

The bed was fairly uncomfortable - problems of a thin mattress.

Location near the market hall, easy to access, just a few walk to the Airport shuttle bus

Bad room smell even with the purifier. The decoration plant hang right above the bed, which made me feel unsafe with the risk of falling to my head during my sleep :))

I liked the design of that room and how it was well organized. (:

As I am an asian guy I feel like they were not treating me well enough compare to european people who were saying their as a guest.

The reception ladies were very good ?

TOO SMELLY I COULD NOT SLEEP AND GOT HEADACHE!!!The whole building smelled. The room was extremely smelly. The entrance of the building is not clean. The price is cheap but you can find better places in Budapest with the same price.I never ever come back here and also never recommend this place

Everything! Hostel is located in an unbeatable location, just a block away from the central market, a couple of nice bars and traditional Hungarian restaurants (in my experience, the best one I tried while being in Budapest is just around the corner, not a tourist trap, not overpriced, and the presentation and taste were amazing! This was a staff recommendation and was just on point.). Close also to an ALDI, the Danube river and the Liberty Bridge. 30 minutes by walk from the parliament viewpoint (Believe me, it totally worths it to walk by the Danube at night and suddenly see the parliament appear in front of you, it's just magical!). Under bed locker was big enough, they also offered me an extra lock for free if I needed it. Room was illuminated, well ventilated and beds were comfy. Bathrooms were always clean. I mean, I loved Budapest and will definitely come back, and when that happens, I'll totally consider staying at Flow again!.

    All was great.

The bed was spacious and stable. I was staying in the lower bunk bed and I was not disturbed at all whenever the person at the upper bunk climbed up the ladder. I think the bed was fixed to the wall or something. So it was quite stable. It had curtains to give you privacy, but there would be little holes still in between the curtain and the frames, but totally manageable. You get one pillow and one duvet with cover. Enough for an okay sleep. The room is airconditioned but you cannot change the temperature and is set to 25deg at all times. The room is also bright and well-ventilated with tall windows in case you want to switch off the aircon.

The bathroom and the kitchen - the bathrooms were not very clean and had this weird odor. There were no provisions for dry floor rugs in the shower rooms, so I had to rent out another towel to use for my feet. There were no shelves within the shower rooms. There were no hand towels / tissue for the sink. The hand soap dispensers were not working most of the time or were just empty. The kitchen is another area that is problematic. Of course some guests tend to be "abusive" of an open space / open kitchen set-up. The sink is always dirty. Tables are always dirty. Several fridges are available but are never cleaned up so food left by guests even after check out was still there. I've been to equally-priced hostels in other countries which have much better kitchen and bathroom cleaning protocols. So these parts for me were quite unpleasant. I think they have to invest more on cleaning and maintenance personnel. But hey, it's a hostel anyway, and these things are to be expected. But I have seen much better facilities and sanitation in other similar hostels.

Very nice concept, beds with lockers and curtains, very capable and nice reception staff.Location is great, really close to the water and some attractions. Close to public transport services.

Bathroom inside the room was quite small. In the morning the cleaning staff was smoking in front of our room and talking quite loudly which was really annoying

    7MarcosPosted on: 8-28-2025

Location and staff are great, close to many options for food, grocery stores, shops, and easy access to public transportation.

Hotel is being refurbished and we stayed at a room on the 1st floor, which is not super convenient - no elevator access, to cite one. Also we could smell sewage from our room, from some construction at street level.

    10IvanPosted on: 8-18-2025

The room was freshly renovated! The bathrooms were clean, reception was open 24/7. They have option to do a very fast laundry with drying. Overall I highly recommend, it was one of my best stays.
