Hotel Central Basilica

Perfect location, staff was helpful and room was clean and plenty of space for one.

The location and hotel was lovely.

The air conditioning didn't work. Staff looked at it offered a fan which was appreciated, however another staff person, although kind, would not believe that it wasn't working and said he'd been in the room when we weren't there and it was working fine.

The hotel is very central, great location. The room was spacious and clean.

The walls/door are quite thin, so we woke up from the noises of the cleaning ladies in the hall or people talking.

Amazing location. We took the family room which had a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

I would like to express my concern regarding an additional charge of €40 that was applied by the property for towels that were stained by hair and, according to them, required extra cleaning.I fully understand that an extra charge may be justified in cases where an item is permanently damaged and needs to be replaced. However, I find the amount of €40 excessive for towel cleaning, especially since there was no permanent damage or need for replacement.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room was in the front and we were able to open the window and look into the entrance of the Christmas market, so perfect room.

There were lights along our window so it was like daylight in the room at night. Some optional heavier curtains would have helped.

Located steps away from the Christmas markets and St Stephen’s Church.

The staff was very rude. The front desk didn’t give us any information (WiFi information, times for breakfast, etc.). When we asked about parking, he rudely said “we never said we had parking!” We understood they didn’t have parking but we were asking if he could tell us where a parking garage is. When we tried to explain our request, he interrupted and said-I’m trying to tell you why you can’t park!We just decided to find a lot on our own. The absolute WORST part was there was a neon light flashing in all of our windows. We tried to sleep or close a drape, but there wasn’t a drape. At midnight we called down to tell the front desk we were having a hard time sleeping. He said-there’s a shutter! I asked where and he rudely said there is a switch to close the shutter. NO ONE EVER TOLD US THAT! The switches were on the wall but not labeled. I told the front desk that he might want to tell future guests about the switches. He just laughed. The bed was so hard my husband could not sleep. At breakfast, everything was very low quality. A waitress stood in the room but never asked if we needed anything. There was a large TIP jar on the bar. Everyone at this hotel was so rude we decided to cut our stay to only one night and booked across the street at the Aria, which was DELIGHTFUL! This hotel has potential but the management/staff is very rude and not helpful at all!Photo is the light coming in our room at midnight!

Bed is comfortable and perfect location.

This hotel is a 4 stared hotel. They gave us 4 towels. We asked for one more because we were 2 and we both needed those 2 for shower. We just asked for one more for our hands and they didn't want to give! Just after we told them "don't worry we won't steal it" they gave us and day after they took it back! Its just a towel, and their behaviour was such a shame!!! Everything else was okay but their behaviour and treatment was so disappointing. And if we won't leave our towels on the floor they won't change it. It felt like the workers don't love their work and they don't care about their customers and they are trying to work as less as possible. We loved everything else but still thought that we could find a better place, with better stuff that 100% worth the money that we paid.

The location is just perfect, in the center of the city, next to everything. The room was big, a place for everything, tidy and light. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, fresh bread, vegetables and fruits. Great tube
