Hotel Unio Budapest

Location

No kettle in the room..wifi signal is weak

the size of the room for the price.

could use a new paint job and have more detail to cleaning

Staff was wonderful. Room was extremely quiet and clean. Location was pretty good. About 15-20 minutes walk from most sites.

The bath

Location

Wifi Did not reach room

Easy access

İ did not like the quality of the breakfast Poor cleaning staff

good location and comfortable beds

the bathroom could use a little facelift, the silicones around the bathtub don't encourage bathing

The room was clean and in good condition. The towels were changed daily. The towels were a little on the thin side. Could have done with tea and kettle in the room. This was a drawback for me as I like my tea. The room was very warm and because I suffer from Asthma it dried up my throat and I was coughing quite a bit at night. The mattress was very thin but ok. Had breakfast once in the dining room. No gluten free options for my friend which was a drawback. We had breakfast early and there was plenty of variety. The food could have been warmer. I was not impressed with this. I asked for tea at reception one of the evenings so I could drink it in the room. It was lukewarm. Did not like it as I like my tea hot. Overall For the price paid for the accommodation it was adequate.

No teamaking facilities in the room. The breakfast had no gluten free options and the food was lukewarm. The heating was uncomfortable at times. The mattresses are very thin. The thinnest I have ever seen!

Perfect location, clean hotel, excellent rooms and polite and professional staff.

Good, clean hotel. It has an old world, old school vibe that we really liked. Don’t update the decor! Relatively convenient location adjacent to a major thoroughfare and a tram line. Helpful and friendly staff. A good buffet breakfast is available.

The room was a little small. We had to go downstairs to fetch coffee and tea ( at the breakfast area), no kettle or machine in the room.

Good location

The hotel is straight out of the 80s. Ok for a single night. Would not stay longer. The checkout time is recently shortened, making it needlessly uncomfortable.

Interior style of common space, stylish restaurant, interesting art pieces on walls. Overall hotel with specific old style atmosphere.

Quality of Breakfast

The staff were helpful on front desk at check in. At breakfast also friendly. We bought breakfast two mornings.

The room did not have a kettle. Most hotels I have stayed in supply a kettle. The room light switch failed after 3 nights we could not switch ceiling light on. Luckily we had bedside lights. Toilet cistern wasted water as it did not fully seal and water trickled through continuously. I did leave a note on these two points on our checkout. Sink had no plug so again water wasted.

Good for the price. We stayed just one night, it was normal.

Just the air conditioner wasn’t working properly.

Great staff, easy communication, clean, comfortable, great location.

Electric cooker was a bit difficult to use to cook. Otherwise, all was fine.

Spacious and clean room, quiet.

Bit old.

Great location, friendly staff. Simple, not luxurious - but great for the money.

I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very close to the New York Cafe, restos, grocery, metro and all transport means. The staff were all polite and nice.

the location was great, had a late check-in and reception works 24/7 which is great, hot shower 24/7

pretty old building with old reparation, you can hear when any other people from different rooms take a shower even in a room and it was too loud

A small nice hotel, located right in the historical center of Pest. Very convenient location, close to many attractions. Good & helpful staff members. Strong wifi signal.

The Hotel does not have a scanner.
