Pros +
- Location and cleanliness
- I like the location
- The hotel is well located, 450m or perhaps a 6-7 minute walk from Nyugati train station, so it is very convenient for a sleepover that involves trains there. Also, "downtown" with the main sites close to the Danube (the parliament etc.) is within walking distance. Many shops and bistros around, plus good connectivity by bus or metro. It is biggish (seven floors plus the top reserved for fitness and wellness), has three fast elevators, a huge hall with a bar and breakfast part, nice and kind receptionists, a separate luggage storage room (they give you stickers to keep, very professional), clean toilets (also in the lobby) etc. Our room was on the sixth floor, quite biggish, with two comfy queen beds, two types of pillow, and a small "makeshift" bed for the child (but all three of us used the two big beds in the end, it was fine for my 6-year-old daughter). TV with lots of channels, good internet, a safe, a fridge with a smallish selection (water, coke, beer, pringles, peanuts), complimentary water battle above, some instant coffee, but also two Nespresso pods with a machine (nice!). Big and comfy bathroom (ours had a full tub), a fast, large and warm hairdrier... All standard and nice. Also, upon our early arrival (ca. noon, the rooms can be taken as of 3PM), the receptionist offered to check if ours was free, to let us in earlier. It wasn't, but it was nice of her to offer.
Cons -
- Some not all staff was friendly.
- I used the small gym on the top but the "all-in-one" multistation machine did not work (it appears one of the wires had been cut) and there were no dumbbells, barbells, really anything except for two big stability balls for crunches, a bike, a treadmill, and a ski machine. Also, while I was there, a tech guy attached a "sorry, this is closed for repairs" sticker to the sauna room next door. I might have been unlucky, but it would have been nice if this had worked. Also note: on entering the building, you need to climb some stairs to get to the lobby level, which may be an issue if you have a lot of luggage (we did). THERE IS A LUGGAGE LIFT FOR THIS TO THE RIGHT (not nicely visible, so I guess many make our mistake). Would be nice to mark this more clearly at the entrance. Finally, the check-in process took a bit more minutes than expected - the very kind receptionist apologized and said their computers were a bit slow. This is fine, but I found it strange to have to do this even though I had checked in online previously (a new option for me that this hotel chain is offering, so I wanted to try it out). Also, not that I cared much, but this did not seem to work too well because I had "selected" a room on a lower floor and they gave me another one. In all, these are minor things, but there is a little room for improvement given the category, I think.
- There were no disposable slippers.

Close to everything. Yummy breakfast. Very quiet room.
There were no disposable slippers.
I turned the heat up to maximum but it was quite cold in the room. The water in the bathroom was cold, It was a problem not related to the acomodation but we were not informed about it when we checked in.
Excellent location – perfect for exploring both sides of the city, with very easy access to public transportation (tram, metro, bus).On-site parking – not free and spaces can’t be reserved, but still a big advantage. On-street parking nearby is more expensive and far more complicated. We left the car there for the entire stay and walked or used public transport.Very polite and helpful staff – friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They assisted us with directions, recommended the correct transport lines, and even provided handwritten notes with station names.Very good breakfast – wide variety including eggs, salads, breads, hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, five kinds of juice), and even a morning soup. I tried almost everything — all of it was tasty.
Beds are very firm – clean and comfortable, but firmer than I personally prefer. Also, there was no availability of a double bed during our stay.Bathroom layout – the shower is inside a narrow bathtub, which feels unsafe and uncomfortable, especially for larger guests. Getting in and out is awkward, and the sink counter tends to get completely wet. Towels were thin and rough.Noise & ventilation (room-dependent) – our first room had no outward-facing window and an issue with the air-conditioning. We had to sleep with the window open and could hear everything happening in the lobby and reception area.
Good location. Nice breakfast. Staff is nice.
As we were traveling with a dog and by car, both fees were a bit expensive. 25 eur pet fee, and 25 eur for parking, for 12 hours in total is too much.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic so friendly and incredibly attentive. The location is excellent as well, situated in one of our favorite areas of Budapest. Highly recommended!
The WiFi in the room was terrible — really the worst we’ve experienced. We requested a room with a double bed but received two single beds instead, which made sleeping less comfortable. The staff did their best to check if another room was available, but unfortunately the hotel has very few rooms with double beds. In addition, there were small insects in the bathroom throughout our stay.
The quality / price relation is excellent, great room, comfortable, good bed, good service and diligent i was very happy of the overall experience.
The room walls were kind of old, and the walls had some marks, like some places of the hotel, I would say it need a little renovation, the breakfast was ok to good, but not excellent but again for the price I paid its more than enough. For a solo travel its great, unfortunately I would not go there if I had to go with my superiors there are better (and of course more expensive hotels in Budapest)
Staff is nice but there is no air in the rooms due to bad ventillation. It is very uncomfortable.
I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately the experience did not meet the standards of a 4-star property. • The AC in our room was extremely outdated and barely functional. It wasn’t cooling the room at all. • The window wouldn’t open, and when I contacted reception I was told it was “under maintenance.” However, nearly all the courtyard-facing windows were open, which makes it clear the issue was related to the AC and that switching rooms likely wouldn’t have helped.• There was no ventilation in the bathroom either, essentially the whole room is a closed (hot)box. • The room was uncomfortably hot with very dry air, making it hard to relax or sleep. • The room was old and clearly in need of renovation. It was clean, but the tissue box had only about five tissues left — a small detail, yet something a 4-star hotel should not overlook. • The mattress was in terrible condition — it felt like a trampoline with no proper support. • Soundproofing was basically non-existent. We could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms. • I requested two vases for flowers (an ice bucket would have been fine). The receptionist initially said they “probably don’t have any,” which is surprising for a 4-star hotel. They eventually brought two items that looked more like juice bottles — but they worked, so that was fine. • Around 10 a.m. there was only one person at reception, which resulted in a queue. For a hotel of this size, having just a single staff member at a busy time is not acceptable.• The automatic front doors were not working, which was inconvenient from the moment we arrived. We only stayed for two nights, but I regret choosing this hotel even for such a short stay. The staff, however, were friendly and polite throughout our visit. Overall, the experience fell far below the comfort and service standards expected from a hotel in this category. I hope management takes these issues seriously for future guests.
Specially the personnel, very kind and helpful. Always smiling. In particular this lady at the front desk: Dalma and the other two girls I don’t remember their names ?
The sauna was not working. Not all the staff speaks english nor spanish
Hall and people
Bathroom
Disappointing
1. The lobby smells like sewage 2. Rooms were not cleaned3. Very old and bathrooms and the sink was not working4. For a 4 star hotel i think someone should carry our bags
The location is very convenient, but the issue with water splashing onto the floor when showering needs to be fixed. Unt
Each time I showered in the bathtub, water splashed onto the floor because the glass door covers less than half the tub. It seems like a design flaw — unless a shower curtain or double sliding glass door is installed. I even had to ask the front desk for extra bath towels to soak up the water on the floor. Very bad experience.
We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were nice, clean and cool, despite the extreme heat warnings. Location was perfect, 10-minute walk away from the city centre, good public transport connections are just down the street.
Location, big room, comfortable, friendly staff
Great location with modern amenities and helpful staff!
It was all great.
The location was great, in the heart of Budapest, very close to the most visited sights. It had a very good carpark. very good value for money.
The location is near public transportation. The Parliament is close.
The breakfast was OK but not more than that. The bathroom was not updated. In general, the hotel needs to update.
⸻Title: Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!I had an excellent experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transport. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a long day.Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good variety of options. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and all facilities were well maintained.Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area
Great Stay, but Disappointed by Breakfast ServiceOverall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant. However, I was quite disappointed with the attitude of one of the waiters during breakfast. When I asked a couple of simple questions, he reacted with visible frustration and seemed very impatient and uninterested. His behavior felt dry and unwelcoming, which left a negative impression at the start of the day.Good service is just as important as the food itself, and I hope the hotel can address this to ensure a better experience for future guests. A bit more courtesy and professionalism would go a long way.
