    Pros +

    • the staff front desk was amazing and the breakfast as well.
    • I really loved the hospitality and the friendliness of the staff there. The room was quite good and the overall ambience of the hotel was also really good.
    • Calm and welcoming was my first impression when I entered the property, which immediately set a good tone for the stay. Managed early check-in (You should check with property, provided the room is available). This place works well for solo travelers, couples, families, and especially budget travelers who want a clean and comfortable stay without paying city-center prices.Furniture quality was good and I was very satisfied with it. AC/heating was average, while Wi-Fi and switches worked well without any issues. Staff deserve a special mention — helpful during check-in and proactive whenever needed.Breakfast was genuinely good, especially for a budget stay. Nice spread with salads, scrambled eggs, fruits, a variety of breads, juices, boiled veggies, cheese and spreads, muesli, oats, different milk options, and a pancake machine (great idea). Adding one more pancake machine or increasing pancake size would help reduce queues, especially during busy times. That said, the breakfast staff handled cleaning and refilling very efficiently.

    Cons -

    • they need to clean better the carpet and whole room as well.
    • There is not that much that I didn't like about the hotel. But if I am to nit pick, maybe the location. It felt like not much is happening near the hotel. But great that there are good communication to and from the central area.
    • The room felt a bit smaller than expected, and honestly brighter than necessary, but it was functional and comfortable. Sleep quality was excellent — quiet nights, a good mattress, and no disturbance, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was clean and modern, though the water pressure was on the lower side.Location-wise, metro is about a 10-minute walk, buses around 8 minutes away, and there’s easy access to the highway if you’re traveling by car. The area itself is quiet, but there aren’t many dining or activity options nearby, so expect a bit more walking — that’s probably the main downside.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even though there were many guests waiting for check-in when we arrived, the team was very efficient and well organized, so the waiting time was surprisingly short. Overall, a pleasant and smooth experience.

We booked two double rooms for just one night (family with two teenagers). Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a bathroom in very poor condition. There was a strong and unpleasant mold smell, and the shower area was visibly dirty. The bathroom was practically unusable due to the smell and the overall discomfort caused by the lack of cleanliness.Unfortunately, we noticed this very late, as after check-in we went out into the city and only returned to the hotel late at night. Because of this and the fact that we still had access to the other bathroom, we did not request a room change.

Ideal location for a short business trip, rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is helpful, and breakfast selection is really good.

Very clean, a bit far but very convenient to go around with bus, metro. Huge complex with shops nearby. Staffs are very friendly. Great English.

Might be nice to have a bit more facilities in the room.

Great breakfast, secure parking behind the gates, quiet and clean.

    10DarrylPosted on: 9-23-2025

The location is great. Right next to the train and bus stations. Transportation is easy and close. The breakfast is champ with a wide variety of options.

The room is a bit too small, but it's manageable.

    10AndreiPosted on: 9-1-2025

Rooms are clean and well organized. Somehow small but you can find all that is needed for a night or two. A/C worka well, shower and bath are good ... overall pretty good.

Access is a little bit weird if you do not know the place. A/C can be a littlw bit noisy in some rooms.

The hotel has perfect location for visiting Budapest, is very close to the metro, bus and trains station. Its also very close to a mall(Etele Plaza) where you can get anything. The rooms are small but for us where enough, cleaning and towel changing service very good. All the hotel is clean. The satff is very nice amd helpfull. The breakfast is fresh, good tasting but small variety it's ok but for the future could be improved. For familys there is a play corner wich is fantastic, our 2,5 year old boy was entertaind very well.I recomand this hotel.

    9MiroslavPosted on: 8-2-2025

Good breakfast. Hotel building is new. Metro line is nearby and parking for our car available (main reasons to chose the hotel)

    No fridge in the room.

The facilities were excellent – we were satisfied with almost everything. The bed was soft and comfortable, the room was clean and spacious enough.Breakfast was very satisfying. There were also opportunities to help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee, and hot water from downstairs whenever you wanted.Small surprises like a welcome drink left a very pleasant impression.

The ventilation system in the room was centralized.Even when we turned it off, cold air continued to blow.It was not possible to increase the temperature or switch to warm air.We informed the staff about this issue, but unfortunately, they were unable to resolve it.Even with a blanket, it was very cold at night. As a result, we got sick, and during the rest of our trip in Vienna and Prague, we had to deal with illness, which ruined our entire vacation.

Car parking (paid), close to highway and right next to the train station, super friendly and professional staff.

    N/AIt’s perfect for one-night stopover.

    9AnitaPosted on: 7-2-2025

The room was very clean, neat, and modern. It had everything one might need, I especially liked that you could turn on the towel warmer ( I washed some clothes and I could dry them there). The breakfast was amazing, way beyond my expectations. The variety of foods was great, and the quality of them was awesome as well. As someone who doesn't eat meat, there were plenty of options for me as well, even cooked ones. Even the coffee was great. There were always lots of people coming and going, many groups at the hotel at the same time,so it was quite noisy but it's the season so that's normal. And you couldn't hear anything in the rooms from the hotel being full, so nice noise cancellation as well. The beds were really comfortable as well. I really liked staying here.

It took them almost 30 minutes to check me in, even though my room was prepaid and I did the check in online beforehand. There was some glitch with the system earlier that day and the only guy there was miserable trying to check in a high maintenance guest and his family. Once he got to me it was done in three minutes, but the whole thing stressed me out because I had to be in a meeting and was stuck in the lobby. The employee did try to offer me a bottle of wine for having to wait that long but it was no use to me so I declined. They also switched my room from a Queen bed to a twin bed one, because there were some problem with the booking and they couldn't give me the room I booked. The employee even came up later to knock on my door to see who was in that room because the system was not working correctly. Other than these minor issues, it's a great place to stay.

Good location & Helpful StaffIf someone don’t like very busy in downtown, This is another choice to choose Ibis styles Budapest Citywest. Surrounded with Etel Plaza, Metro & Tram to old town in Budapest

Location and room quality were the best aspects

lack of snacks in the evening. Staff were a little grouchy.

"Standard IBIS" hotel with smaller rooms, but well, effectively equipped. Clean. Very good breakfast. Nice and supportive staff. Parking in front of the hotel (paid). Free coffee on the reception (whole day). Good value for money.

Hotel is located close to highway - so you can hear noise whole day (and unfortunately also over the night). Also not very good noise-insulation between rooms.
