Great place to stay

Good breakfast, plenty of selection. Central location and close to train station where our onwards journey commenced.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well staffed. The rooms are nice and quite big, and there is a really cute cafe and a very nice gym and spa. Even though there was a conference going on during our stay, it didn't feel overwhelming or congested. The staff was responsive and cleaning staff was very quick and came at many different times to accommodate our schedule without us asking. The location was central and safe.

Honestly, we have no real complaints. It would be great if there were more vegetarian options on the menu or if the complimentary fruit was fresher, but we had a very positive experience.

Good location

I’m very disappointed because I’ve stayed at Radisson Blu many times and loved the chain for the consistently high quality, no matter which city you stay in. Budapest is an exception. Dusty, dirty rooms, broken plumbing, and unfriendly service.

Room was what we expected. Tended to run hot and couldn’t control the temperature. breakfast was very good and had an abundance of food.

Close to the road

The hotel is well decorated. The rooms are really nice. Breakfast is great. Check in and Check out was very fast. A complimentary water is provided every day.

The view from room was a bit disapointing - to hotel's maintenance roof (we took a cheaper low floor room). So if view is important to you, make sure to reserve a (more expensive) high floor room or alternitavely a street view room.The hotel is less fancy than Raddison Blue in Bucharest.

Good location, comfy bed, amazing breakfast

Breakfast was so delicious and a lot of options, location was so close to everything. Staff are friendly and supportive.

The room was quite clean. That is pretty much it.

Breakfast is quite limited. The staff at breakfast are very busy. I imagine they are understaffed, so getting a person to see you to order something is close to impossible unless you walk up to them yourself.During breakfast, the room and the corridors start smelling like cooking oil. As a result, we had to disable the AC (but it was not reacting to any temperature changes anyway), but the clothes were smelly like Smelly Cat already, which was bugging us for the rest of the trip.For some reason, the hotel decided to throw a party or an event that, obviously, played very loud music on the ground floor. You could hear it in your room and couldn't fall asleep. I could understand that, since they have a business event venue, but it ran until 1 AM. After complaining to the hotel manager, he asked me point blank: “What do you want me to do?” I don't know, chief, you are the hotel manager, not me.Forget about good sleep there, because you could hear everything, everywhere. People walking? Check. People closing doors? Check. People living their lives upstairs or in an adjacent room? Check. The list goes on. Not even earplugs could help.The hotel restaurant is the worst restaurant I have ever seen. I ordered a pizza, and whatever was brought in looked 10 times worse than a microwaved 2-euro pizza from a supermarket. The chicken in the salad was not even juicy, not well-done; it was congratulations and was probably thrown into Mount Doom in Mordor prior to being served. I had to wait for about an hour for this as well.

Location

The bed was not as it was confirmed (double bed) in my reservation. This is our second time in this hotel and it is the second time that the bed was wrong. Last time we had to stay one night this way, this time they proposed to change it the other day, and claimed there was no available room. After some arguement, suddenly an available room appeared. The room was not cleaned after first night. Some standard equipments were missing and we had to ask for them.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while I was visiting Budapest. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. The bed was really comfy! The hotel is within walking distance to a lot of fun stores and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Nothing to complain about

Clean and spacious room; nice bathroom. The location is excellent, very central, walking distance to transport hubs, sights and restaurants. Breakfast is perhaps the best I have experienced in the city; huge selection.

The bed type (single beds) was not made available for me, even though I requested in advance and I have not received any message that it would not be available. However, the manager quickly rectified the issue. Another comment, the WiFi was slow (~3-4Mb/s) which made social media load slowly on my phone and the TV picture often fell apart.

Everything is clean, staff was polite.

The staff, the room, and the bed were all great. Unfortunately, there was no view, but everything else was excellent.

The location is good, but not amazing — I wish I had stayed closer to the city center. The room didn’t have a view.
