Absolutely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life.It exceeded all my expectations. Everything is simply perfect: the price, the accommodations, the comfort, and the cleanliness. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of.The social activities are amazing and make it so easy to connect with other travelers, even if you’re traveling solo. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy.After staying here, it honestly makes you wish every hostel in the world were like this one. Truly perfect. Highly recommended, and I would come back without a second thought.

Hostel has great location, very comfy beds and good kitchen. In addition Kseniia and Hanni were very nice and helpful!

The property is in a very convenient location while the staff is also very kind and laid back.

The rooms are very hot and the bathrooms did not seem to be cleaned at all during the four nights I was there. This property seemed to be having construction done on half the rooms as well so it was rather loud in the establishment throughout the day.

The property was spacious and had lots of areas to lounge around.

A little bit of a walk to get to the main sites, however, it is close to many restaurants.

Maverick Soho is in an excellent location close to stores, transit, restaurants, banks, atm machines and everything else. You can walk to the St Stephen's Bascilica and other landmarks. There are designer stores in walking distance. A Starbucks not far. Decent size grocery store down the street. Great Hungarian restaurants a block away. Clean shower and toilet facilities. Clean rooms. Big kitchen with double everything. Free coffee and fruit tea. Refrigerators and microwaves with ample seating. Big lounge area. Canteen across the grounds and a bar with food connected. It has everything. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.

Like all hostels, you have to contend with your roommates noise, smells and discourtious behavior. Leaving at 4 a.m. making alot of racket and flipping on lights. Coming in loudly at all hours. Making alot of noise in the hall in the middle of the night. There are more private room abd rooms with 4 or 6 beds to cut down on traffic. Some people, like snorers, just should be alone. Staff speaks english. You can't beat $10 a night. Rooms were on the chilly side but today they were installing new units it looks like.

This was my first time staying at a hostel. After my stay here, i wonder why I've never stayed at a hostel before. My first experience was wonderful! The cleanliness was exceptional. My room was in a 6 female dormitory for 5 nights. It was always quiet. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and the curtain didn't let any light come in. There's a light and electrical socket inside your bunk. The bathroom was right night to my room which was very nice. And the kitchen was at the end of the hallway. They also provide towels. The location was PERFECT. Walking distance to literally everything. **Tip I got from reading other reviews and tiktok for hotels: bring shower shoes, a padlock and microfiber towel (if you prefer your own towel).

Not one complaint. Everything was perfect.

Location, reception, polite and profesional staff

Loved my stay here. Stayed in an all-female dorm, and the bathroom was so spacious that you barely bumped into other people. The staff was helpful with recommendations on what to do within your budget. I'd say it is a pretty reasonable distance into the city, averaging about a 10-15 min walk.

The staff is amazing, especially Kai who checked me in. He offered me the events that they have organized. It was amazing experience. ?

The place was amazing, it was extremely affordable compared to other hotels in the area and literally 10-15 minute walk away from almost all of the activities/attractions, the staff was really friendly and gave us a place to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out until the time of our flight

Maybe if the bed in the double room was a little bit bigger , but that probably because my husband is really tall ?

The location of Maveric is perfect. all in walking distance.The room was good value for money, quiet, clean, great shower with hot water for the cold Budapest nights.

The hostel was well situated and had all the amenities needed. The staff were super friendly, including the girl who checked me in Kseniia. She also ran a free wine social night, super fun! Great value for money and would definitely stay again!

Very clean, lots of privacy in the dorms, helpful staff. Also a wonderful location!

THE KITCHEN IS AMAZING AND CLEAN AND HAS MAY OPTION TO COOK OWN FOOD. FILIPINO STAFF ARE EXCELLENT.

The stay was truly exceptional. The room was spotless and comfortable, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and every detail was taken care of. The atmosphere made me feel relaxed and well looked after.

I stayed here for 6 nights and then 2 weeks later I had to come to Budapest for 1 night so I immediately booked them again. Where do I begin?All amenities were superb. The toilet and shower room was very spacious and was super clean no matter the time of the day. There was soap and shower gel provided, as well as free towel (which were not provided in any other European hostels i have been to so far).The room, personal bed, kitchen everything was clean and very spacious. The front desk area was very nice, the vibe was cool and nice space for hanging out.The staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. When I checked in, I hadn't exchanged money in their currency so I could not pay the room till later. They let me check in and I paid lated in the evening. I asked for slippers and while they did not sell slippers, they had slippers previously forgotten by some other guests and let me borrow them. I loved it.They were also very social and had different social activities everyday but I unfortunately did not have time to participate.This was my best stay in Europe and I stay in hostels a lot. On mhy next visit to Budapest I will definitely book here again.

Good location, clean facilities, good vibes

I should’ve looked into it a bit more but given the location, it seems to be a bit of a party hostel or at least attracts partiers. High chance of people coming in and out loudly during quiet hours but with some ear plugs you should be fine!
