Hotel Mediterran Budapest

The first impression part is the private SPA and Sauna which cost 6 euro / 90 mins. When I stayed in Hotel for 3 days, I feel really comfortable. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also nice for someone who is lazy for finding breakfast outside

“In winter, the indoor pool and sauna have late opening hours in the morning and close early in the evening. Otherwise, everything is excellent.”

- The room was clean as expected, and bed quite confortable. The furniture was in good condition even though is not new.- Loved the underground parking area, perfect for a scorchy summer day for the car.- There is also an EV charging spot in the underground parking but this is not mentioned anywhere.- Very good breakfast.

- Booked a romantic package, but nothing romantic about it (was supposed to get a bottle of sparkling wine from the house but never got it even when discussed at the reception)- American Express card doesn't work, so please be sure to have Visa or Mastercard available too.- The EV charger costs extra and is not the cheapest.- I totaly disliked the noise from the street. The hotel is on a main boulevard, and got the room face to it. I couldn't close an eye all night cause of the noise. The windows could better be of paper cause this was the feeling, even though they were closed.

Friendly staff, cosy lobby, clean rooms. Even though it may not look modern, it's well maintained and very clean. Sauna and hot-tub is nice addition. Garage also very useful.

The hotel was quite old equipted, the bathroom was old. The street nearbay was noisy. They promised to have unlouded space, but it was not that true. Not good price to quality.

The hotel was relatively close to a tram stop on a line to City Center. The room was big and had big windows allowing for a lot of light to come through.

It was cold in the room. Selection of food for breakfast was limited. The bathroom was old fashioned. There were no dark curtains. Modern safe fitting a laptop would be appreciated.

The room

First of all it’s was a side of central Budapest with public transport takes 10/15 to go central. The staff not was so kind. The most important thing was we stayed 2 day’s but no housekeeping ?

Everything was amazing,from a helping personel to the comfort in the room it self. Everything we asked for we got,space in the garage for our car and an extra bed for our son. We had hot wather in the bathroom,all that we needed for a bath,a lots of towels,Coffee,tea,sugar,mini bar was full.

Heating was not working on the hot side of the air condition,but it was not that cold and I am sure that if we sad sometnig to the reception they would oblige but we had two day stay and did not wona bother.

The bed, the room, the shower. Very old layout. There were no outlets in the rooms but one. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows had a bad odor to them. The sheets were uncomfortable.

Not much. The location in the city close to public transportation was good and parking is good too. It's close to a mall and a park with dog parks as well.

The staff is not helpful really when you have issues or questions.Our AC was hardly working and the vent in the bathroom also didn't so our room got humid and unbearable with the heat. They acted as if they hadn't known about it prior (doubt that). The AC was disgustingly dirty. Don't advertise having AC if it doesn't work properly to cool the room and is only really really loud. The towels weren't really clean either, not what I'd expect from a 4 star hotel at all.The room was pretty small and the beds uncomfortable. Really thin mattress.Don't make a hotel dog friendly and then complain because our dog barked for a moment. No guests complained about it either. Ruined our experience in Budapest.The breakfast was not really fresh and had better on our vacation in other places. This was not good.

Only the location

Very old hotel, tv remote control was not working, you hear very rare sound from the taps and staff was also not so friendly

Clean room. Good breakfast. Offered a place to park my car (paid). Wifi was OK.

Small room. Relatively expensive. You get confronted if you try to take an apple outside of the brakfast room.

The air conditioner was almost non-existent. There were very few power outlets in the room.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mediterran! The hotel is excellently located with easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped.The only minor downside was the air conditioning, which sometimes struggled to cool the room adequately during the heatwave. However, this was a small issue compared to the overall quality of the hotel and the comfort of the stay.I definitely recommend Hotel Mediterran for both short and long stays!

Everything was just perfect! Quiet and clean room, the AC was working, delicious breakfast, very close to the bus station. Also the receptionist was friendly and gave us good advice.

It was very hot in the room, the ventilation was noisy and not efficient.

The property is very clean. Good breakfast. All staff are really nice, especially guy on the reception, he is 10 from 10!!!?

The furniture in the room a bit old: beds sounds horrible, carpets everywhere even on the wall. Old and absolutely not useful air condition system: noisy and not effective at all.
