Pros +
- The best part about this hotel is the location! It¿s near a street with lots of restaurants. It¿s only about half a mile to the Jewish quarter. And it¿s probably less than a half a mile to the Great Market. There is a bridge to walk to the Buda side.
- It's location only.
- Its central location and cleanliness. Bed height could have been higher but was reasonably comfortable. These subjects met my expectations of what I'd expect from a 2* or 3* lower priced hotel
Cons -
- Our room was on the second floor next to the street. The traffic and nightlife was loud. No coffee in the room. Only a machine downstairs to purchase hot drinks that only fills the paper cup half full.
- From the photos & write-up advertising this hotel it looked great but in reality was nothing like what was shown. The photographs showed tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms. It mentioned free use of intenet in lobby, no bar, no restaurant nothing!
- Saw 3 other rooms & bathroom shower was same in all: FAR TOO SMALL & FLIMSY. Knocked soap dispenser cover over multiple times and full dispenser itself twice. Make 1 small wrong move & either turn water off or alter temperature. Please build out showers

We loved the location. It is an old building and that is what we wanted for this trip versus a new modern hotel.
The shower was small. The bathroom was big overall.
staff very helpful
poor building and accommodation
They were nice to let us check in early.
No, it was a great hotel. Excellent location
Big room with private bathroom. Pretty comfy. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
I figured out why they give you ear plugs. We had a group of about 5 mem right outside our door at 1:30 am laughing and chatting at the top of their voices for about half an hour. Going in and out of doors slamming them. No thought whatsoever to other people. So incredibly rude. Needless to say our sleep was broken and poor.
Very good location, decent accommodation, excellent breakfast, reasonable price.
Maybe it's time for a little refresh of this hotel, but I have no complaints about the accommodation.
The location was a plus right next to Elisabeth bridge; lots of good food around; Hop on hop off station very close; parking free for the weekend. The hotel was old and still with some preserved architecture. Breakfast was great and a welcomed bonus.
Because the hotel was old the rooms could use some easy updates such as remove the carpets from all the rooms, and review the sinks and the showers knobs and doors. Our room had the inner court view but that didn’t bother us.
I was pleased with everything,I think the check out is early but I understand Room was clean , bed was comfortable .
No bell boy ,compared to the many stairs I was there with my daughter and two 23kg suitcases I found it hard to get around.
The lobby does not have elevator. It is not convenient to carry luggage. No toaster for bread. The breakfast are cold.
Very good location. I asked for the possibility of early check in and got it. Thank you
I checked in around 12PM, the check in time is at 15h, and requested a breakfast box cause I was going to check out very early and the answer I got was “sorry, not possible, too late!”. I mean it was really early when I checked in so I didn’t think it would be a problem but I guess they don’t have a running kitchen after breakfast time to prepare it. Well, it is what it is.
The place is well maintained as value for money , staff in the reception was helpful and kind, location can’t be better
May to provide safe box in the roomThere is no gym inside, and that’s understandable in that kind of hotels, but can be provide access to nearby gym for hotel clients will be a very good ideaMost of Arab clients will be more comfobrtable if the hotel provides external bidet in the toilet
Location, room was adequate, with the exception of a lady at reception, she was fantastic, the others, mostly men, were very unhelpful, almost like we were bothering them. Many incidents, just showed no interest in helping. Almost like we were a bother when asking for water.
Room was big silent and warm,,,,very good.Staff were very friendly.
The outside appearance and entrance give the wrong impression of the place. They definately need upgrading.
The night receptionist was rude!! We arrived at like 12 am with a young kid and he didn’t had any patience. At other time we called the reception because the heated water didn’t work and he was rude again saying “open the heat water im busy bye”. I most say that the other receptionist was excellent.
Location, view and cleanliness
Steps at the entrance
Breakfast was good.location nice . Communication very good .nice stay.
room was comfortable.
front desk reception was bad. with the exception of a lady, who worked 2 days while we were there. the men receptionist, were cold, unhelpful, at times downright rude. we would ask for water for instance, told point blank no. other times, yes. they didn't like questions. there was a lot of situations that went on so we went to the reception desk as little as possible.
the location of the hotel is excellent.there were delicious and varied breakfasts.
There's no safe in the room; you'd have to upgrade to a larger room if you wanted a kettle. The room photo showed toiletries, but they weren't in the room.
